As Saionji's boot hit the ground, she felt a switch within her. The sight of her brother being protected by two people who, in their current state, stood no chance against Asura, setting her off. Though she recognized the flashes of green streaking through her hair, she could barely register the passage of time as she took a full step forward. Soon, with time seemingly slowed to a halt, she jogged towards Andrei, stabbing and slicing the serpents which he had grabbed up into his hands as to free him up for Asura's full body.

She could feel everything in that moment, the individual breaths of each combatant, downed or still active. Even Alpha was heaving in the moment. Raising her sword to her side, Saionji looked to Asura, and she felt the winds begin to shift again. Suddenly, a dozen impacts behind her, and Andrei stumbled backwards, shocked at the speed she had just displayed. The two of them locked eyes as Saionji was forced to look back at the impacts, her heightened senses triggered by the whipping of her own winds. The wind came after...? They both thought in unison, Andrei's mouth partially agape.

Asura, now free of Andrei's superhuman grip, lurched forwards, his bloody scalp beginning to coat itself in a layer of soft flesh, serpents sprouting from the hair follicles on his head. His eyes caught Andrei's as the boy turned to look back at him, and Andrei felt a prickle on his face as Asura's blood began to morph on his own body. Eyes widening, Ra shouted at Andrei inside his own mind, and Andrei's body erupted into flame in an attempt to burn off the blood. But then, in that moment, he felt everything go black.

"What the hell...? W-Where am I?" He muttered, then he heard the sound of Asura turning himself on his allies. It was Alpha's grunting that tipped him off to the fact that he was still standing. Clenching his fist, he shouted to Saionji. "Saiji! It's up to you for the moment, Okuri, you jump in... my eyes, I think that bastard..."

Noticing that Andrei was staggered, Okuri tightened his grip on his sword, and his cobalt blue aura erupted into full effect. The wolf-man cracked his neck, and in an instant, was standing between Andrei and Asura's tail as it flicked towards him, the scaled carapace cracking like a whip as it met with the wolf's ch'i-infused blade. "Take all the time you need, Andrei. I'll keep them safe, with Saiji's help."

Saionji gasped as the blood caked onto Andrei's face impaled his own eyes, and then took a more defensive stance as Asura's eyes shifted back to Alpha. She took a step forward, and in that moment, felt time slow down again as she tapped into something beyond even her own pool of mana. Whatever it was, she felt it usurp even her own limits, using her own body as a conduit. Her muscles burned, and she felt her own mind struggling to keep up with the pace at which it was absorbing her movements. By now, Saionji was moving on pure instinct, her blade glancing Asura's shoulder and leaving a slash down his entire back, spraying blood which she seemed to simply step past. "Right. Don't worry, Andrei... I think I can handle this." She said, her eyes flashing with a piercing emerald glare as she locked eyes with Asura once more.

Before Saionji seemed to simply walk through Asura, Alpha was caught by a pair of fists as she drove her blade even deeper into his chest cavity. The android felt her jaw crack as flames began to burn behind her new eyepatch, boiling over and out of the fire-proofed leathers. The next punch, and uppercut, set her jaw back into place, and sent her vision skyward as she stumbled back. In that moment, Saionji cut through Asura's back, and in a moment of desperation, the android threw her fist forward, clenching it and praying that her blade still had the energy to function separated from her sure hand. I won't get another shot at this... the girl seems so sure of herself, but I sense traces of doubt in her voice. The second strike wasn't as accurate as her first... Alpha's thoughts raced as she processed everything, including Andrei's current disability. Fine then... I'll warn everybody to move. The wolf, the girl... Andrei, they all need to not be caught in the blast.
