A man the size of Okuri stepped onto the field, a simple iron mask preventing any more than his eyes from being seen beyond the black hood and cloak he wore. Under the iron mask, the man looked to the only other hunter remaining unharmed, Locus. Wordlessly, the man gave a nod, and drew his weapon from his back as Vivian flicked her segmented, scorpion-like tail. "The other one... I'm not worried about some dog on his last leg like him. You though, and that boy! Both of you are prime examples of why we fear your kind!" He shouted, his eyes beginning to shine as his voice took on a euphoric tone, and he spun a sleek, black-bladed axe the size of his own body into a defensive position, both hands on the leather-wrapped handle.
Vivian's cropped leather jacket began to catch in the wind as she took center stage. The bare skin on her stomach was sensitive to the breeze as the fur on her arms brushed up against her gut, and she felt her nails beginning to conduct with electricity, forming claws from her fingerless gloves, claws which thankfully didn't arc back onto her bare skin thanks to those very same gloves. Loosening herself up, the girl bared her fangs and flicked her large, foxlike ears as if to taunt the man as the Chimera in her own head began to rampage across her mind. "Tch, do you ever hear yourselves talk? I might not remember much from before I blacked out, but..."
As the half-chimera girl's fangs glistened in the noon sunlight, the man tensed up, raising his hand to slit his own palm on the edge of his axe, seemingly feeding the blade as its edge grew sharper with his blood. Vivian's voice drew closer to an animalistic bark or snarl now, and her eyes sparkled with golden-black lightning, just like her nails. "... You guys start to sound real annoying after the third time! Did'ya know that?" She shouted, curling back her lips and dropping low, her eyes now wide as they crackled with signs of life.
Boots threw up mud as the hulking man launched forwards at an utterly unreal speed, his axe drawn back beside his hip now as he realized that the chimera would wait for him to move. While Vivian hadn't exactly planned on it, that man's attack would be the perfect opportunity to show him just how feeble he was. She wanted him to shut up, and quickly... "Now, sit this one out and let us get going!!" the girl snarled, raising her pointed tail to skewer the man as he flew at her.
Smirking under his iron mask, the man stepped to the side as the all-too-smug Chimera realized her mistake. Bringing his axe up as he continued forwards before swinging it downwards again and dragging it across the ground, the man roared with laughter as he felt the cracking of a bony exoskeleton beneath his blade. Blood spattered from a now dismembered tail, and from a stump on Vivian's back as a slice of her jacket blew in the wind now. Wha-...? Was all that could run through her mind in the moment before she could even react. A shiver ran through her body as the bloody axe seemed to sharpen again, and the man's now bloodshot eyes stared back at her from behind. "The hell? What kind of speed-!" She gasped before spinning around and raising her arms to block another incoming barrage of slashes.
Instead of lunging though, the man instead projected a stream of blood, throwing it forwards with his blade in order to create ranged slashes which cleaved the flesh on Vivian's arms, racing to the bone before stopping short and soaking her in both her and her opponent's blood. Eyes wide, she staggered back, taken aback by the strength of the mere human before her. He laughed, gripping his axe and muttering. "Blood manipulation is useful for more than party tricks and shitty assassins. I've trained in order to manipulate the very blood within me... A symbiotic bond between myself and my weapon." Now only chuckling, he stood tall over Vivian, stepping forward in order to loom above the Chimera. "You've been backed into a corner with nothing but my power of muscle manipulation... I'm sorry to say you almost intimidated us! It seems our friends are nothing but washed-up fools and wannabe Hunters!"
Vivian, pupils shuddering and breath rigid, heard the snarling of the Chimera in her head as she felt her back up against a tree. On the sideline, Locus smirked up until he heard the jab at his own companions, and at the pupil of his ex-rival. The axe-wielding executioner raised his weapon now, eyes a bloody red now as he roared with manic laughter. "Now lay down your head and die, rat-tailed bitch!"
