The sun rolled across the horizon as morning dawned, and wind rolled between the ranks of Nowhere in particular. A beastly wolf-man's paw interrupted the breeze, only for it to flow between Okuri's legs, and rise upwards as the dewdrops of dawn slowly warmed in the sunlight. Saionji, Shimoda, and Andrei stood right beside one another, Shimoda with his arms wrapped around his sister and friend's shoulders. Suzuko popped up behind them, her tail flicking maliciously as she crept up on them, only to be scared by Vivian, who grabbed her tail tight and tugged it gently.

Okuri looked on with a smile as he watched the younger members of the Generation getting along, and he stood from a partially crouched position to stand tall beside his vampiric companion, and Alpha.1, their android ally. Sunlight caught in her single green eye and reflected off of the gold stitching of her eyepatch, which took the form of a finely crafted rose.

Inoshishi awoke from a tent, rubbing his neck as he was tackled by the black- and blue-furred Chimera wolf Raiju. On the ground he let out a breathy chuckle, only for a sharp whistle to catch the big puppy's attention and for him to jump off the man almost as fast he had descended upon him. Ainu, the white- and red-colored wolf sniffed his brother, and Dove patted Raiju's flank as he returned to her. Ohta walked beside the bounty huntress, her hand on her rusty, dulled blade, and her jet-black hair in a wild, hip-length ponytail behind her.

The two women joined the rest of their allies at the edge of a hill, looking out at the vibrant red-orange dawn as it slowly gave way to calming blues. Finally, their newest member awoke from her tent, where she had slept alongside Vivian and Suzuko. Cherry-Fang and her wide, flat hat on her head, she yawned, feeling it slip back a slight bit. It tugged at her fox-like ears, and she strained them to keep it on her head as she recovered herself, and joined the group. They had been sharing a traveler's breakfast between each other, courtesy of Alpha's sword, which they had used to grill bits of a deer, and a relatively fat, rainbow-feathered half-Chimeric bird that Andrei and Vivian had caught the night prior.

"Good haul, 'Drei, Vivi'... I didn't realize Alpha was such a good cook either! Maybe it's the spices Cherry brought with us, but..." Shimoda released both his sister and friend to sit down and dig into his food, something which he hadn't enjoyed in such quality for a decent while. His eyes practically glimmered, a smile on his face as he scarfed down. "... It almost brings a tear to my eyes, 'Drei-bro!" Inoshishi chimed in, his stubble-ridden chin coming into Shimoda's vision for only a moment, before he snatched a piece of meat and began to dig into it.

As Shimoda met Inoshishi's face with his indignant elbow and a declaration of war, Saionji smirked and laughed, gravitating towards Andrei. The two shared a bowl of brothy rainbow-bird soup, with Saionji holding out a pair of chopsticks for Andrei, who gladly scarfed down a piece of bird before licking his lips and offering a toothy grin. His eyes caught on Saionji's sleeveless, scarred arm for a moment, but her smile drew his attention even more.

"Pretty good stuff, Andrei. Thanks to you and Vivi, we found out that Alpha was... a pretty decent cook, I guess!" Saionji wolfed down the last of the soupy mix as she finished her sentence, and witnessed as Inoshishi and Shimoda's brawl fell backwards, into Suzuko and Vivian, the two girls pulling them apart, and Vivian holding Inoshishi up by the collar of his armored robes, while Shimoda's ear was being pulled by Suzuko quite harshly.

Ohta and Dove finally found themselves a part of a group, falling in with Okuri and Hirano, who were arguing in their calm, teacherly way. Neither of the women really cared, they were more interested in this rumored meal that Alpha had so graciously made. Sat beside the remnants of the fire now, Ohta grabbed at the gourd she had tied to the hilt of her sword, taking a drink of whatever foul-smelling alcohol was inside it. Dove caught Alpha's attention, and the three watched as the two wolves awoke the huge orange cat, Phanes, and Bayashi by proxy, claws gripping his sprawling gut and eliciting a loud hiss and a shout from the two, spooking the two curious wolves.
