"Fig no!" I shouted as I fell through what I thought was the floor of a forest into a huge tower that was only one huge room, a colosseum if you will. The sky was bright white here instead of pitch black like in the forest. Looking around the entire place was laced with gold and silver and all the buildings seemed to be built out of quarts. I had no clue where I was or where I was supposed to go.
"Are you lost?" A woman said to me as I looked at her. I realized it may be a little scary seeing someone holding an axe with armor on. I didn't know how to cover this mess up.
"I... was just leaving?" I said basically asking myself out loud what I was saying.
"No, you weren't Seth. It's good to finally meet one of you." She giggled and I almost lost my mind.
"Hold on, how do you even?"
"You are one of the eight, right?"
"Yeah, but that still doesn't-"
"Come with me, let's talk." She said as she waved me over to follow her and began walking towards the Colosseum.
I wanted to seem like I fit in after already embarrassing myself by saying 'I was just leaving.' As if I knew where the exit or entrance to this place was in the first place. I just kept looking around for anything to identify where I was but I just kept getting more mind-blown every second. Buildings were on average taller than a five-story apartment, a whole city that apparently nobody had ever seen or reported on. People lived here and no one knew about this place? was it some sort of agreement in a contract to live here?
We walked into the Colosseum and I was amazed. There were chairs all over the room and they were about twelve feet tall. Twelve chairs sat in front of a table and behind those were chairs that filed around the table in a circle format. No one was there from what I saw but I felt that I could be wrong. All twelve chairs were labeled in order, Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, and Hades. I was in Olympus.
"Hold on, We are in..." I got cut off.
"Olympus, yes we are. I'm, Athena, it's nice to meet you, Seth." She held her hand out as I felt my jaw drop.
"Did Fig send me here on purpose or?"
"Actually he just opened the portal, I made sure this is where you came." A random man came out from behind one of the chairs. "Hermes, nice to meet you kiddo."
"Okay, this is a lot. How do you guys even know?" As I asked eleven more people walked in and they started growing to fit the size of the chairs. Athena grew so that she fit the size of the chairs too. After all the twelve gods sat down the rest of them began to walk in and fill the chairs behind the table. Hermes walked me over to his chair in the second row.
"This meeting is called in order to talk about the son of Erebus. Elijah." The man who sat in the chair labeled 'Zeus' spoke. "As you know he has been working with Gornid behind our backs and that is quite frankly disappointing. He was one of the stronger demigods and he was only one of the three to face Gornid and survive.
"One of three?" I asked out loud interrupting the fifteen-foot human being who slouched over and looked at me.
"Yes, one of three. Elijah, Fig, and Lezlie." The man boomed at me.
"Hold on, Lezlie? I thought it was only Eli and Fig?" I asked
"Seth, do you know how rude it truly is to interrupt a god?" He asked me before answering, and Hermes slapped my hand.
"Do you know how rude it is to not only leave your kids but to just hope they can save the world? I looked at Poseidon, Hades, Hephaestus, Theia, Zeus, Erebus, Phanes, and Boreas. "I mean use your heads here. Don't you think they would feel a bit more confident if you SPOKE to them?"
