"Jin! Oh my gosh, are you thinking about giving modeling a try? That agency that scouted you sends talent to well-known Hollywood brands. Once you become well-known, I'll proudly tell everyone that my best friend is a supermodel," Jimin said excitedly.
"You're getting excited for nothing," Jin chuckled. "I never liked modeling. You know my brothers wanted me away from the limelight, and I prefer it that way too. I hate how the media scrutinizes my family, treating us like specimens under a microscope. It's suffocating, especially since their interest is solely because of our wealth. We're not even celebrities."
"Good point. But you can't deny that the media and many people are interested in your family not just because of wealth; you and your brothers are so attractive, and that includes your dad."
"Yeah, people often stare at my brothers whenever we're out."
"They're staring at you too. Both guys and girls are mesmerized by you whenever we go out," Jimin remarked.
Jin looked at Jimin. "You're selling yourself short. You're gorgeous too; people notice you as well. You know what, let's not talk about modeling and my family's fame. I'm bored. It's school vacation, and instead of having fun, we're stuck at home discussing how the media bothers us. Let's go shopping."
"Sure! Tomorrow?" Jimin asked.
"No, today. Like, right now," Jin replied eagerly. "Please? I'm really bored. You're all dressed up. Are you still planning to go home and change? That might take a while. You can check out my wardrobe if you want, so you don't have to go back home."
"I'm good, no need to change."
"Alright, I'll get ready. Meanwhile, you can go down and look for Taehyung. He was in the pool when you arrived, and it hasn't been long, so he might still be there," Jin said, wiggling his eyebrows and smiling mischievously.
Jimin rolled his eyes. "As if he'd even notice me. Your brother is so clueless. He's so focused on looking after you that I doubt he'll ever get married."
"True! He's too much," Jin chuckled, then headed into the bathroom.
Jimin went downstairs and headed towards the kitchen to get some water when he noticed movement in his peripheral vision. Glancing to his right, he almost gasped when he saw Taehyung wearing only a towel around his lower body. Jimin froze in panic, unable to move.
"Jimin, what's up? Will you stay for dinner? I'll cook Jin's favorite Japanese dishes; you might want to try them," Taehyung said casually. "And stop staring at me like that."
Jimin's eyes widened. "Like what?"
"Like you want to take off this towel," Taehyung smirked, pointing at his towel.
"No way! You're too full of yourself," Jimin retorted, avoiding eye contact with Taehyung.
Taehyung chuckled. "And you're blushing."
"Of course not! I'm just embarrassed because you're teasing me," Jimin replied, still averting his gaze.
"Yeah, right. Stay for dinner," Taehyung said as he started walking toward the stairs.
"I can't. Jin and I are going to the mall, so we might grab dinner there," Jimin explained.
Taehyung furrowed his brows. "I'll talk to him. I'll cook dinner for him. He should stay for dinner here," he said as he walked upstairs.
After getting dressed, Taehyung went to Jin's room and knocked. Jin opened the door, looking surprised to see Taehyung.
"I told you I'd cook dinner for you tonight. Why are you leaving?"
