Randall
I had received word that Mari's wedding to Jeffrey was finally off. I'm sure it was due to Jeffrey going missing after he was able to inform others of my wrong doings. I didn't want to deal with Marianna and I had Dion kept at bay for a bit, therefore I took the opportunity to get away for a weekend with Fabian. It had been a while since I met up with Fabian; he had been extremely patient with me as I was juggling all of my affairs to which I felt I owed him a weekend away with me to make up for me being too busy to meet up with him.
"That sounds amazing. Why aren't you taking your wife?" He asked. I wasn't sure if I wanted to tell him everything that went down between Marianna and I or did I want to keep it vague.
I decided on the latter.
"She's been there before." I casually mentioned without going into detail. I think I said a mouthful that he understood.
"Oh ok. Well, I'll be honored to go with you."
"Great, I'll make the final details and send for you next weekend."
"I knew you were stuck on me." He uttered laughing slightly over the phone.
"What if I am?" I knew I was but I didn't want to admit it. Now with Marianna aware of my significant others, I wanted to submit myself fully to what I desired.
"It's all good, I love your dominance. You take me places I've never been and you satisfy me completely in every way." Fabian had a way of speaking to me which left me wanting to take advantage of every opportunity I had to be with him.
"That's good to hear." I smiled.
"Like I've said before, I see what Jeffrey sees in you. You are very addictive and intense."
"You make it sound like a bad thing." I quipped.
Fabian chuckled, "Nah, but too much of a good thing can be bad for some."
"True. But what if it's so bad, it's good?" I heard him snicker over the phone which made me smile.
"Randall Worthington you are irresistible."
"I know."
After speaking with Fabian I was excited to make arrangements at a resort for us to have an uninterrupted weekend full of titillating fornication. Marianna still hadn't returned home with the children and we weren't on speaking terms as she wouldn't answer my calls as well. I accepted the fact that my marriage may be over which may or may not affect the merger that was agreed between our families when we were married. I would have to speak with Father about it later on, he was a bit preoccupied at the moment with his own shit.
Apparently, the new story in the headlines now was that Father had an illegitimate son, whom Father has never made any mention. Tabloids can really twist a story around to make it believable. No matter how much I wanted Father's secrets to go away quietly, some way somehow, he was always capable of landing at the top of the hot topics. As soon as I finished making the arrangements, I decided to visit Father and tell him about the situation I had going on with Marianna.
"Randall," Father sounded a little irritated as he grunted and growled incoherently as I entered the study. "How are you doing?" He barely turned around to acknowledge me.
"Fine, and yourself?" I retorted. I sat down in the lounge chair across from him.
"Not good son. The deal fell through with the Abrams."
"Excuse me? Deal?"
"The marriage between your sister and Jeffrey Abrams."
"Oh, yeah. I heard." Father sounded disappointed he was not going to accomplish what he had planned with the Abrams. Hearing his disgruntlement I wavered on informing him of my issues.
