Gosh, what do I even say? I finally finished this story after so long. Many of you probably don't know, but I've been working on this story for a while now. I came up with the idea of this story about two years ago, and the plot and some of the characters have gone through many changes. This is still sort of a first draft, and I know that it most probably requires a lot more work, but I'm just happy and content my story is out here and that it is done.
Writing this story has been a long journey. I remember the days when I would sit with writer's block, contemplating how I wanted this story to end or where I wanted it to go. I wanted to stop or give up sometimes, but I'm glad I kept going.
All the characters, especially Rick and Maya, are precious to me. They are like living beings with personalities, wishes and dreams. I really hope for the best for them, and I'm sure you all do too.
I just want to say thank you for coming this far, for allowing yourself to be pulled into this story, and for giving it your love. You gave my book a chance, and I couldn't be more thankful.
I'm hoping to put out another story I've been working on, perhaps at the end of the summer, but we'll see. Regardless, until next time, much love!
