The third day at UA began with a hint of tension in the air. I could feel it as soon as I stepped onto the campus. Students whispered in hushed tones, their expressions a mix of excitement and apprehension. It seemed the faculty had something special planned.
I moved through the hallways with my usual detached efficiency, entering Class 1-A's homeroom. The atmosphere was different, more charged. I took my seat at the back, scanning the room yet it seemed like a usual pattern was forming . Izumi was animatedly discussing something with Katsumi Bakugo. Shoto and Shiori Todoroki were quietly conversing, their expressions serious.
Aizawa entered, his gaze sharp and focused. "Listen up," he said, immediately commanding the room's attention. "Today, you'll be going to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, also known as USJ. It's designed to test your decision-making skills and teamwork under pressure."
The murmurs in the room grew louder, but Aizawa's stern look quickly silenced them. "We'll be heading there shortly. Suit up and meet at the bus."
The students quickly changed into their hero suits and gathered at the bus. The ride to the USJ was filled with hushed conversations and palpable excitement. "I can't wait!". Said mina enthusiastically others joining in with her. Sometimes I wonder if people will ever grow up however maybe this was 'teenagehood'. I sat alone, staring out the window, god do I hate transportation it makes me soo sick honestly why can't I walk this.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Thirteen, the pro hero known for their expertise in rescue operations. Thirteen began explaining the facility and the importance of rescue training. I listened initially to what she was saying however I got quite bored and tired of her constant blabber however the others soaked it all up.
"Remember," Thirteen emphasized, "this training is crucial. Heroes are not just about fighting villains but also about saving lives."
As we entered the USJ, the grandeur of the facility became apparent. Different zones simulated various disaster scenarios, each designed to test our abilities to their limits. I found a spot away from the others, preferring solitude to the noisy chatter of my classmates.
Suddenly, the atmosphere changed. The lights flickered, and a large, swirling portal appeared at the center of the facility. From it emerged a group of villains, led by a pale, disheveled man with hands covering his body and a massive, monstrous figure at his side.
Aizawa immediately sprang into action, turning to the students. "Stay back! Thirteen, protect the students. This is not part of the exercise!"
My eyes narrowed as I assessed the situation. The villains were numerous and clearly prepared. My heart did not fault after all we are meant to be heroes. Thirteen and Aizawa fought to protect the students, but the villains were relentless.
Kurogiri, the villain with the ability to create portals, spread his dark mist, separating the students. I found myself alone in the ruins zone, away from the others. The isolation suited me just fine. I could work more efficiently without distractions.
A group of villains emerged from the shadows, attempting to ambush me. I reacted instantly, my movements precise. The first villain went down with a swift, calculated strike, followed by another and another mori's teaching of renewal did help. My training had prepared me well for this moment.
"When will it finish." I muttered under my breath, as the last of the villains crumpled to the ground. They were no match for my skills and strategic prowess.
I moved through the ruins, my senses on high alert. The sounds of distant battles echoed around me, but I focused on my immediate surroundings. Another group of villains appeared, their faces twisted with malicious intent. One snuck up on me and stabbed my gut. Damn I should have been more focused taken it more seriously.
