I stood in the training grounds, the air thick with anticipation. The practical exam was about to begin, and I had just learned who my teammate would be: Izumi. The irony was almost too much to bear. I had spent years avoiding any connection to my past, and now I was forced to confront it head-on. Her bright demeanor was a stark contrast to my cold disposition, a reminder of the warmth I had once known and lost.

We were paired together to face All Might, our final hurdle in this exam. His towering presence loomed at the end of the mock city, a symbol of power and hope for many, but for me, a reminder of abandonment and pain.

Izumi approached me, her usual bright demeanor contrasting sharply with my own cold disposition. "Looks like we're teamed up," she said with a determined smile. "Let's give it our all!"

I nodded curtly, not trusting myself to speak. I didn't want to give anything away, to show any hint of the storm raging inside me. Instead, I focused on the task at hand. All Might was an intimidating opponent, but I had to keep my head clear.

"All right, listen up!" All Might's voice boomed across the training ground. "You two need to work together to either defeat me or escape. Use everything you've learned!"

As the signal to start rang out, I analyzed the battlefield. Izumi immediately sprang into action, charging ahead with her usual enthusiasm. I followed at a distance, keeping an eye on All Might's movements. He was fast, stronger than anyone I had ever faced. We needed a strategy.

"Izumi, wait," I called out, my voice steady. She stopped and looked back at me, surprise flickering in her eyes.

"What is it?" she asked.

"We can't just rush in. We need to outthink him. You distract him while I look for an opening."

She nodded, her trust in me evident despite our limited interaction. She dashed toward All Might, engaging him in a flurry of attacks. Her movements were precise, her Quirk powerful, but it was clear she wasn't a match for All Might's overwhelming strength.

While she kept him occupied, I circled around, looking for a weakness. All Might was formidable, but even he had his limits. As I watched their fight, a plan began to form. I could use my agility and strategic thinking to create an opportunity for us to escape.

"Izumi, fall back!" I shouted.

She obeyed without question, retreating to my side. "What's the plan?" she asked, slightly out of breath.

"We need to use the environment to our advantage. Follow my lead."

I led her through a series of maneuvers, using the terrain to create obstacles for All Might. We darted through the narrow alleys of the mock city, dodging debris and using the buildings as cover. All Might was relentless, but we managed to stay one step ahead.

Finally, I spotted an opening. "Now!" I yelled.

Izumi and I launched a coordinated attack, using our combined strengths to create a massive distraction. It was enough to slow All Might down, just for a moment. We took the chance and made a break for the escape point.

But All Might recovered quicker than I anticipated. He was closing the distance fast, and I knew we wouldn't make it without a final push. I had no choice but to use my Quirk, even if just a little.

"Keep running," I told Izumi. "I'll hold him off."

"What? No, we need to stick together!" she protested.

"Trust me," I said, my voice leaving no room for argument.

I turned to face All Might, feeling the familiar pull of my Quirk as I activated it. This time, I focused on manipulating the nuclei force, the strong force that binds protons and neutrons together. I surrounded my fist with this immense power, feeling the weight of it as it crackled with energy.
