Teachers pov
From the observation deck above the training ground, UA's teachers watched as the practical exam unfolded. Each instructor had their own perspective, colored by years of experience and personal insights into hero training. This year's batch of applicants looked promising, and they were eager to see how the students would handle the challenges ahead.
Aizawa Shota, also known as Eraser Head, leaned against the railing, his sharp eyes scanning the field below. He preferred to watch quietly, evaluating the students' raw potential and their ability to think on their feet. Beside him, Midnight, the R-Rated Hero, watched with a mix of enthusiasm and critical judgment.
"Look at Bakugo," Aizawa muttered, nodding toward the explosive blond who was tearing through the robotic villains with unrelenting force. "He's got power, but he needs to learn control."
"Katsumi Bakugo is doing a good job of balancing her brother's aggression," Midnight observed. "Her kinetic manipulation is impressive."
Aizawa grunted in agreement. The Bakugo twins were a known quantity, their reputations preceding them. It was no surprise to see them excelling, but Aizawa was more interested in the less obvious talents.
He glanced at the Todoroki twins, Shoto and Shiori. Shoto's precise use of ice and fire demonstrated his meticulous control, a product of rigorous training under his father, Endeavor. Shiori, with her fiery passion and aggressive style, was a perfect counterpoint to her brother. Both had potential, but Aizawa knew their personal struggles could either forge them into great heroes or break them.
"Shoto's holding back a bit," Midnight noted, her eyes narrowing. "He's still conflicted about his quirk."
"He's got a lot to work through," Aizawa replied. "But he'll get there."
Present Mic, standing a little way off, was more animated in his observations. "Look at these kids go! The creativity with their quirks is off the charts!" he exclaimed, pointing out various students combining their abilities in innovative ways.
Aizawa shifted his gaze to some of the less prominent students. There was a boy with a tail, using acrobatic moves to outmaneuver the robots. Nearby, a girl with frog-like abilities was efficiently rescuing simulated civilians, her agility and quick thinking earning approving nods from the teachers.
"They're forming teams on the fly," Aizawa remarked, noting a girl who could create objects from her skin working with a boy who electrified anything he touched. "That's good. Heroes need to be adaptable."
As the exam continued, the teachers shared their observations and insights. Each had their own way of assessing the students, but they all looked for the same qualities: strength, intelligence, teamwork, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
At one point, All Might, in his skeletal form, joined them. He had been watching from a different vantage point but came to share his thoughts. "I see great potential here," he said, his voice softer than his booming hero persona. "But potential alone isn't enough. They need guidance, discipline."
"That's where we come in," Aizawa replied, his tone as dry as ever. "We can shape them if they're willing to put in the work."
Suddenly, there was a commotion as the zero-point robot made its entrance, towering over the simulated cityscape and casting a shadow over the competitors. The students below hesitated, most opting to flee from the massive threat. But one student stood her ground.
"Izumi Midoriya," Midnight said, pointing her out. "Let's see what she does."
Izumi, with her green hair and determined expression, unleashed her quirk in a devastating burst of energy. The blast struck the zero-point robot with immense force, causing it to crumble and collapse in a spectacular display of power.
