THE HOUR HAD GROWN LATE, Alaena was in her mothers apartments, laying on couches, Jacaerys and Lucerys were finishing training and Rhaenyra had gone out to walk and her father was out drinking with his 'buddie', the door opened and she thought it was her family until she heard a voice that wasn't her parents or brothers.

"Did you know?" Alaena sat up and got up from the couches, to see a drunken Aegon, he stumbled in, "You're drunk again Aegon," Aegon eyes were red underneath and his face was flushed, "Yes. But did you know?!" He sounded angry and Alaena was very confused of what he was speaking of, "Aegon, I don't need the whole seven kingdoms hearing you! And what are you speaking of? What do I know?"

Aegon stumbled forward to stand in front of Alaena, "Your mother..." He stopped, "She offered you to my fool of a brother, Aemond," Alaena squinted her eyes, "What?"

"You will marry Aemond!" He yells, "Aegon, why are you so angry about this?" Alaena knew she shouldn't of asked that question to Aegon while he's drunk.

"Because..." Aegon stepped forwards, closer to Alaena, "You can't be with him," Alaena laughed softly, "Why not?"

"He's not the guy for you Alaena, I am," Aegon spoke drunken, "Aegon don't say that."

He stepped even closer to Alaena that she could smell the wine in his breath, "Don't," Alaena whispered, "Go back to your chambers Aegon."

Just as she said that Rhaenyra and her two brothers walked through the opened door, "Uh.." Alaena looked and pushed drunk Aegon away from her as he struggled to stand, "Mother, Aegon was just leaving," She parted her lips to say, and Aegon sighed before stumbling out of the room, "Make sure prince Aegon gets to his chambers safely," Rhaenyra spoke to one of the guards, "Yes princess."

"Boys, to bed," Rhaenyra speaks to Jacaerys and Lucerys, and the two boys groan and Jacaerys asks, "Why?" Rhaenyra gives Jacaerys a look, "Now." Both her sons sigh before walking to their chambers.

Rhaenyra sighed when her two boys went off to sleep, "Mother," Alaena opened her mouth for the first time since Aegon left, "What was prince Aegon doing here with you unattended?" Rhaenyra asked her daughter, "He was drunk and spoke of something which I find fascinating!" Alaena raised her voice a little.

"When were you going to tell me that i'm betrothed to Aemond?" Alaena asked, Rhaenyra sighed before sitting down, "My sweet girl, I needed to do something. It's not a for sure thing yet," Alaena shakes her head, "I can't marry him! I don't love him!" She argued, "The people we marry we don't always love my sweet girl," Alaena sighed, "It's not official yet, my love."

Alaena stared at her mother with her arms crossed, whom sighed, "I should have told you.." Rhaenyra told her daughter, "Yes, you should have," Alaena looked away from her mother, "Please forgive me, I know your angry.. but I love you and wants whats best, and we all have a duty to the realm."

Alaena looked at Rhaenyra, and saw in her eyes full of apologetic thoughts, "-I'll forgive you mother, always."
