After the ending of Idril, this leaves a few trials left and now there's an open seat for the head of the Drow clan. "Shouldn't we look for another head of the Drow clan?" Arwyn asks. The rest of the Elders just stand there staring at Willo. They are talking amongst each other tossing around questions and statements like...
* How is this possible?
* Did that really just happen?
*In the hundreds of years that I've lived I have never come across anything of this magnitude.
*Who's going to care for the Drow now?
*I don't want to get on his bad side.
As the Elders talk amongst themselves Arwyn and Turambil watch Willo. The baby laughs and makes some happy coos. "Excuse me, Turambil?" Gardre speaks. Turambil looks up. "Yes Gardre, what is it?" The Elders quiet themselves and listen. "I was wondering if you have ever seen anything like this before." Turambil is silent for a moment. "I have not. Arwyn, have you seen anything like this in your visions?" Arwyn opens her mouth to speak. "No. The only thing I have encountered is the feeling of great power, but nothing like this, especially from someone so young and new to the world. Turambil, we will have to bind his powers as soon as possible." Turambil nods his head in agreement. "For now we finish what needs to be finished and then we figure out what to do with the Drow. Then we will bind his powers."
Turambil carrying Willo, Arwyn, and the rest of the Elders leave the great hall. Turambil calls to one of the servant elves. "I need you to clean up the great hall and to put Idril to rest. There was an accident of sorts. I also need for you to write a letter to the Drow clan and inform them that their leader has fallen and they are all to meet in the great hall when I summon them." The servant nods their head and runs off to do the tasks at hand. Turambil and the Elders go out to the Mother Tree. Everone stands around Mother Tree and slowly sways in the light breeze like her limbs and leaves. "I would like to begin with a small quiet prayer for Idril. Even though he was defient, he was one of us and now he is no more." Turambil says.
In their moment of silence a servant comes out to whisper to Truambil. "It is done. Is there anything else you need?" Turambil nods, "Yes. I need you to bring out 12 torches and stake them into the ground around Mother Tree. I will also need the small silver knife that was on the table in the great hall please. That will be all." The servant nods and runs off. 10 minutes later, the same elf shows up with a couple behind him. They are carrying the torches. One elf has the bag of runes and bag of bones for Arwyn and the little girl who bowed in the tree tops is carrying the small silver knife. The last elf is carrying out the shield with the royal family tree on it and the last kings amulet. They reach Turambil. The runes and bones were givin to Arwyn and the shield and amulet set on a small table where Turambil stood. The little elf girl walked up to Turambil slowly looking down at the ground. "It's was you that I saw up in the trees when I brought Willo here." Turambil looks down at the girl. She begins to breath heavy. "Yes sir. I didn't mean any harm. I was curious and then when the others left I felt this pull. It was an automatic reaction to bow." She looks up at Willo. "Would you like to hold him?" asks Turambil. "Could I? I mean is that allowed?" Turambil asks "What is your name young one?" as he hands Willo to the young girl. She takes him in her arms and holds him like he's made of the finest glass. Willo looks up and laughs. The young elf starts to laugh with him and slowly leans in to kiss his forehead. "My name is Mayla. When you get bigger and you come home, I'm going to protect you." Willo reaches his hands up and places them on her face. All the Elders watch. There was a little hint of magic in the air and when Mayla looked up she had a bright silver ring around her pupils. Turambil looks at Mayla. "Would you like to hold him for the rest of the trials?" Mayla looks up and smiles "Yes sir, I would love that."
Turambil looks out to the Elders, it is now time to start the last of our trials. Arwyn will read her runes and bones. I will make a small cut on Willo's hand to test his blood on the royal shield and amulet. "Um, the last time we used a knife to cut him, lightning came at my face." Arwyn says. "Do you think it wise to have Mayla here hold him?"
Turambil looks to Arwyn, "You're right. That's why I will make the cut and young Mayla will hold Willo. That is if she still wants to do it." Looking to Mayla. "Yes sir. I would love to hold him." Mayla says with a smile on her face. Willo even smiles too. "Alright then." Turambil picks up the little knife from the table and steps around the table so he is on one side and Mayla and Willo are on the other across each other. Mayla looks down to Willo. "I'm gonna need you to be brave. It's going to hurt a little bit, but I am here with you." Willo looks into Mayla's eyes and coos. Mayla picks up his tiny hand in hers and extends it out for Turambil. Turambil makes a small slit on Willo's palm while Willo never takes his eyes off Mayla.
One drop falls on the sheild and one drop falls on the amulet. Mayla wipes off Willo's hand and looks to Turambil. "The cut, it's healed. How can that be?" Turambil looks to Mayla. "Just like you, Willo has his own special abilities. Healing quickly is one of his." Mayla smiles. "You are amazing Willo."
A couple minutes later the blood on the shield starts to travel to each member of the royal family tree. When the drop hits the first king, the amulet begins to glow. The drop of blood on the amulet begins to disappear. Suddenly the amulet pops open. Inside is a gem stone that looks solid black. Turambil picks it up to look at it. To him it's still black but there's a hue of different colors when the light catches it. "By shield and amulet trial, Willo appears to be royal. Arwyn, have your runes and bones told you anything?" Arwyn stops her chants and looks up to Turambil and the Elders. "Yes. They show what the prophocy states. It's not clear how he will acquire the traits of werewolves and vampires or if he already has them. The runes show he will have a full life with alot of ups and downs but he knows who his family is and they all will come to his aid when needed. They show of a love that surpasses anything anyone has ever known, a love that will make the god's envy what he has. As for the bones, they show death by the elements he possesses. They show a clan of supernaturals that was meant to protect him from the beginning, but will be hunting him and cause his death." Turambil looks to Arwyn with a troubled look. "How is he meant to live a full life if he's to die at least four times from the elements he possesses?" Mayla holds Willo a little tighter. "Remember my promise. I'm going to work hard to be the best of the elven warriors and I will protect you. Always and forever." Turambil watches Mayla and Willo. "That you will Mayla. We will start your training soon." Turambil walks to Mayla. "One last test. This involves Mother Tree. Would you mind Mayla?" Turambil and Mayla walk over to Mother Tree. They each place a hand on the tree and hum. Willo looks around and trys to reach the tree. Mother Tree starts to hum with energy. The Elders watch closely. Some of her branches come down and form a cradle. Mayla gasps. "Do I put him in it?" Turambil replies, "Yes you do." Mayla lifts Willo up and places him in the cradle. The cradles lifts a small amount then all of the torches that were placed around the tree at the beginning ignite with blue flame turning to a soft yellow/orange. The Elders watch in silence. Then they all bow to their new Elven King. He may not be all elf but they except him the way that he is. Turambil looks back to the table where he set the gem stone down. He picks it up and raises it so the light of the flames can show what's inside. The hues of colors that he saw before are now more vibrant. They make a rainbow but shaped like a small galaxy. It's a stone that he has never seen before. It is both rare and beautiful. Turambil decides that he will work on a piece of jewelry for Willo that contains a small part of this stone and the rest of the stone will be used as decoration in a weapon of Willo's choice when he comes of age.
Turambil has Mayla hold Willo once more. "Now for the issue with the Drow clan." Turambil looks over the Elders. The Elders stand once more and look to Turambil. "I would like to intergrate the Drow to their original clans if they so happen to choose. It will be a test of family and faith to see if they are welcomed back. For the ones that choose not to integrate or they happen to not be accepted I would like for Gardre to take them in to her clan. When Willo comes of age since he is the one to have killed Idril, he will decide who the new Drow clan leader will be and make the decision if those who left can or should return. Do any of you have any thoughts on this matter?" Gardre steps forward. "I will accept all who choose to stay Drow. As for the ones who wish to integrate, I wish you all the best of luck and pray for your family and original clan to accept you back with open arms." The rest of the Elders agree with both Turambil and Gardre. "With everything being finished and decided. We prepare for a feast worthy of our new King."
