Leaph and Kallon sat there watching the fire all through the night never speaking another word. As the sun rose through the trees Leaph looked over at Kallon. "I didn't mean to upset you last night. Is there anything you want to talk about?" Kallon looks into Leaphs eyes, he stands up stalking toward him, never breaking eye contact. He bends down in front of Leaph and kisses him. Once more Leaph returns the kiss. They pull apart to catch their breath. "Like I said, I believe you, but I really just wanted to do that." Kallon says in a low breathy tone. Leaph smiles and pats for Kallon to sit down next to him. "Do you have any ideas on how to bind his powers?" Kallon smiles. I have a few books here that might help. First I think we need to pack my camp up and go home. I have to see this child with my own eyes." Leaph smiles. "I will help you pack. Are you serious about going home?" Kallon kisses Leaph once more. "Yes. I am serious about going home." Leaph and Kallon spend all morning gathering up everything and packing it up. Leaph helps carry some of Kallon's things then they both walk off toward the spot where Leaph entered the human world so they can make their way back home.

As soon as Kallon enters the Elven Forest, so many emotions come flooding back. He feels the health of the forest and animals around him. There's a strong pull that he feels. "Why am I getting this feeling? I am being pulled in the direction of the castle. What is this power I feel?" Leaph looks at Kallon and places his hands on his shoulders. "That is Willo. That is Mother Tree calling you home." Leaph gabs Kallon's hand and leads him through the forest toward the castle and the infant elven king."

On the edge of the forest in the elven castle Turambil sits in his study. He knows that Mayla has bonded with Willo and he somehow marked her. He stares that the journal he started when he first brought Willo to the castle. As he flips through the pages Turambil thinks back on everything. "Mayla. Would you accept if I told you that I wanted to adopt you as my own?" Turambil says out loud. Ever since Willo entered his life and then Mayla joined Turambil has felt something that he hasn't felt in awhile. He feels love for them. He feels compassion for them. If he could, he would keep them both, but Willo needs a family as much as the Boussard family needs him. Turambil finally stands up from his desk. He puts his quill down and looks out the window. "Today is the day I talk to Mayla about adopting her and we begin the binding process.

Turambil walks out of his study and walks through the hallways to Mayla's and Willo's room. The closer he gets he can hear Mayla telling Willo a story. Turambil approaches the door and knocks softly. Mayla stops talking and opens the door. "Turambil. Good morning. Did you need anything?" Turambil stands at the door. "Good morning young Mayla. Is it alright if I come in? I need to talk to you." Mayla smiles and motions for Turambil to come in. She closes the door behind him and runs off toward Willo in his crib. She picks him up and sits on her bed with Willo in her lap facing Turambil who just sat down in Mayla's chair. Mayla starts to laugh when she sees Turambil looking around the room and at the chair he's on. "Why is this chair so small? My knees are up to my face." Turambil says as he's sitting there. Mayla laughs harder. "That's my chair. I'm so much shorter then you that when you sit apparently your knees go to your face." Turambil starts to laugh. "I suppose you're right." Turambil laughs a little more then clears his throat. "Mayla. You have been here for the past month helping me with Willo and looking for his family." Mayla smiles. "Yes Turambil. Do you not want me here anymore?" This time Mayla looks like she's about to cry. She sniffles. "NO. That's not it at all. I want you here. I was going to ask you how you've like being here." Mayla lets out a soft sob. She sniffles and then smiles. "I love being here. I really enjoy spending time with Willo. I really enjoy spending time with you too Turambil and the rest of the council. I grew up in orphanages being passed from one clan to the next for 7 years. Then I ended up in Leaph's clan. He was the only one to welcome me with open arms. He never looked down on me and he took care of me. I never had a family Turambil. I don't know what it feels like to have one. It was always just me, all alone. I was trying to make the other younger elves accept me so I could at least have a friend, and that one day you walked into the forest holding a small bundle in your hands. While everyone else ran and hid, I felt like I needed to stay. I can't explain it. There was this pull. I thought it belonged to you so I bowed." Turambil looks at Mayla as she talks. He feels something in his heart that he's never felt before. Turambil has always cared for all the elves. It was his job since he was the oldest and the one with most power so he took the throne with a unanimous vote from all the Elders to lead and watch over them, but with Mayla. Turambil feels more. He feels like he needs to protect her and love her. He finally settled it in his mind. He was going to love Mayla as a daughter. He was going to raise her as if she was his own. That is if Mayla wanted it. Mayla continues talking. "I didn't know the pull was to Willo and not you. I want to be here for him. I want to protect him." she smiles a soft smile and looks down at Willo. "I don't have experience with this, but I love you and want to watch over you." Willo smiles and reaches his hands up to Mayla's face.
