As Leaph and Kallon walk through the hallways to the great hall the share some small talk. "Don't think I didn't notice the way Mayla looked at you Kallon." Leaph says with a small glare and a little smile creeping on the edge of his lips." Kallon turns and looks at Leaph. "Why my Lord, are you saying what I think you're saying?" Leaph stops and grabs onto Kallon's arm to stop him. "What did I tell you about calling me 'Lord'?" Kallon starts to laugh. "You should have seen your face. I only meant that you seem to be jealous. Leaph starts to laugh. "Mayla is but a child. Besides, why would I want anyone else when I have you." Kallon says in a whisper and slowly moving his lips towards Leaphs. Leaph looks down to Kallon's lips. He leans in with a hunger in his eye. This only makes Kallon grin devilishly and move slower. Just before their lips collide in what would be an epic moment, Kallon stops and slowly places his fingers on Leaph's lips. "Sorry, but we have arrived at the great hall. There will be plenty time for that later." Leaph closes his eyes and takes a deep breath in. He places his hands on the door and pushes them open.

In the great hall sits all the everyone but Leaph. "Turambil? Did you happen to mention to Leaph that this is important?" Arwyn speaks. As soon as the question is out the doors swing open and in walks Leaph and Kallon. "This is a meeting for Elders. Who is this elf you bring in with you?" Arwyn says. This is Kallon. He is with me. This is all you need to know." Leaph announces to the room while he glares at Arwyn. Leaph goes to his seat followed by Kallon. "Kallon, if you would take my seat. I will stand." There's murmuring among the Elders. Leaph can hear all kinds of questions and thoughts like "That elf isn't an Elder. Why is he here?" "How dare he take that seat." "Do you think Turambil will do anything?" "If he doesn't what example does that send." Leaph stands there next to Kallon like a soldier guarding a door. It's clear to him that everyone does not approve of Kallon. If they had given him a moment to explain who Kallon was and the reason he's here. As Kallon sits there he looks up to Leaph. He can see the anger in his face and how he's clenched his jaw. Kallon reaches over and pokes Leaph in the leg. "Hey! What are you doing?" Leaph looks down. Kallon starts to laugh. "If you stood like a statue any longer I think your head would have popped. Not to mention your teeth." Everyone else quiets down and sees how the two act. This time Turambil gets up from his throne and begins to walk down the steps. He stops and looks to Leaph then to Kallon. Everyone straightens in their seats and watch to see what Turambil has to say to this stray.

"I want to introduce to you Leaph's friend and fellow clansman Kallon. He has come home and rejoined the Wild Elves. There will be no more talk of him being a stray or unwelcome. Kallon will be serving alongside Leaph as Elder. Kallon will have a say in all matters involving his clan, the rest of the clans, and any significant matter that may present itself where we get involved." Everyone sits with wide eyes staring at Turambil. "Why didn't Leaph mention any of this?" Earendil asks. Turambil looks at the rest of the Elders. "Leaph would have answered all of your questions and explained the situation had you given him time to do so. It's not his fault that as soon as he walked in everyone of you did nothing but stare, mock and talk down to Leaph. We must be better then this." Turambil reaches his hand out to Kallon. "I welcome you as an Elder. I am appalled how everyone here has treated you. I am sorry for their behavior." Kallon takes Turambil by the hand and shakes it. When they drop their hands, Turambil steps back and Kallon stands. "I apologize for this entire situation." He says as he addresses the Elders. "I know I don't look like the rest of you or speak the same way as you. You all dress fancy and are very clean. I mean look at me. My hairs a mess, I've got dirt smudges just about everywhere, not to mention the tattoos that I have showing. I remember as Elders, you were never to show your tattoos unless of battle." Leaph looks to Kallon with pride. "I mean the hunters showed them, but the Elders, that was unheard of. Like Turambil said, I'm Kallon. If any of you remember I left about two years ago when Leaph was elected Clan Leader and Elder. I am sorry to hear about his father. In fact, it was Leaph's father that had me leave. He told me how he couldn't have his son be friends with a lowly elf. That I would tarnish his reputation. I was second in class to be chosen as Clan Leader. Leaph and I made a deal. If one of us was chosen the other would rule along with them. That way there would be a highborn to listen and there would be a lowborn that would listen to those who believed their opinion didn't matter. Leaph came to me because of this child you all believe to be from the prophecy. I had my doubts about this child. I will not lie to you about that. Then I felt a pull to come back here. Leaph and I spoke and I think it would be in the best interest of everyone in this realm and the human realm to bind his powers. I will help you find a way to bind them. If he is as powerful as Leaph says and from what I felt, you're going to need all the help that you can get. I've been around witches the past couple of years. If you need help I will gladly be there to do so and if need be go to the witches I know and ask for help without revealing anything."
