Seven in the morning was a rude awakening, with the solid 5 hours of sleep you got the night before.

You got dressed quickly, and washed your face, attempting to wake yourself up. You ate breakfast and headed to work. When you finally arrived at the hospital, Cameron met you at the door.

"Oh hey. Goodmorning, Y/N." She said, holding a cup of coffee in her hand. "The patient is doing well, we treated him for Cirrhosis and he seems to be improving."

"That's good." You nodded, walking with her to House's office.

"Are you alright?"

"Fine. Just tired." You replied, opening the office door and walking in with her. Foreman sat at the table, along with House.

"Where's Chase?" Cameron asked, taking a seat.

"Root Canal." Foreman responded bluntly. You took a seat beside him.

"Does it surprise you your Prince Charming needs dental work?" House said.

"He's not my 'Prince Charming' we aren't even dating."

"I'm sure Cinderella and him slept around with each other first. Anyways! How is our patient?" He asked feigning interest. Clearly last night wasn't on his mind, and if it was he didn't seem to want you to know.

"He's stable, we're sending him home today." Foreman said casually, "Since we don't have a case that we need to work on, can we go home?"

"Nope. You can head to the clinic."

"But I already did my hours."

"Oh I know, you can do mine." House said, tapping his cane against the table. Foreman scoffed.

"Absolutely not. Cuddy gave you those hours, not me, and Cuddy is the boss." Foreman responded clearly irritated, House groaned leaning back in his chair.

"Yeah and I'm your boss. Do the hours or you can get taken off the next case. Y/N here can also do MRIs surprisingly." Foreman stood up reluctantly and walked out. House turned to Cameron.

"The ER needs your help! Hurry my morally in-tune employee!" He said standing up carefully with his cane. And after a minute or so the place cleared out.

"So..are we going to talk about last night?" You said gingerly standing up.

"What about it?" He responded looking at you.

"Nothing I guess."

"Okay." House said slightly, before turning and walking into the extension of his office which contained his desk. You sighed. He wasn't exactly easy to talk to. Maybe Wilson was wrong. Or maybe you weren't trying hard enough. You opened the door following him in.

"No thank you? Or maybe an apology for making me pick you up at 3 in the morning?"

"What happened to 'nothing, I guess'?"

"You're so annoying."

"Anyone ever told you you sound like the parents in Charlie Brown?" He responded sitting down in his chair. You laughed lightly under your breath.

"You make it so hard for me to like you."

"I get that a lot. Along with, you're so handsome and you're so intelligent. Which I'm surprised you haven't mentioned yet-" House was interrupted suddenly by Foreman opening the door to the office.

"The patient started having a seizure. And now his heart is failing."

He stated, sitting down at the table.
