[Before the chapter starts, I would like you all to know that this chapter is quite info-based. I'm sorry.]
"Okay. I think I might know what happened to you guys, but...I need to do something first," Singa told them before taking out his phone and headed out of the dining room.
-3rd Person POV-
Heading to the living room, which was nearby but not far enough that whoever Singa is talking to and his conversation would be completely inaudible.
They only watched when they heard the ring of his phone and the sound of the phone call being picked up. Singa removed the call from being the speaker and held up his phone to his ear so the three could only hear one side of their conversation.
"Hello? Yes, hi. I'm calling because the symptoms are present. I thought it wouldn't happen since it only appears after two weeks...well, you should have told me that or have written it! Fine. I'm going to cancel the appointment today, then. Yes, I'll go only if they get better, goodbye,"
He headed back to the dining room where the rice gang was waiting patiently.
"Okay, so I'll explain this situation as a whole. What you are feeling now is something that happens whenever we drink that annoying potion of Japans. You get quite sick for two days as a side effect from the powers.
Affects vary from the person and the type of animal they get the features from but it's generally one to two bad days then just recovering with very minimal of those same effects though there are similar symptoms," Singa stated.
Before Indo managed spoke, Phil cut in so as to not start another fight, which would be pain to clean up the damages. "Why didn't you inform us earlier?"
"I simply didn't know that it would happen since it usually happens after two weeks," Singa informed. "However, I do have a hunch that the creepy guy you mentioned at the coffee shop had drugged your drinks,"
Indo and Malay looked at each other before looking back to Singa. Malay was the one to speak. "Explain,"
Singa then went on to clarify his logic behind the conclusion.
Indo and Malay were the only ones to order drinks and had gotten sick first. From what Singa had learned from that call with Japan, that would mean something would have been placed to harm them enough that it would cause the sickness to come in earlier as sort of a 'consequence' for overuse of the healing abilities.
The type of drug does affect the symptoms but not the duration. "And that's all I know so far," Singa stated.
The three sighed before accepting their fate. "Well, there's nothing we can do now except deal with the sickness," Malay mentioned.
They then discussed what they should do next when Malay remembered about his meeting with his states. "Hold on. I need to cancel the meeting I planned with my states,"
They nodded as Malay went to a corner and sent a text within the official malaysian group chat.
Singa then took that time to explain to Indo about the extra info on the healing abilities that he forgot to explain due to all that has been happening since Phil and Malay now already know.
