"Hey, you okay? He didn't freak you out too much, did he?''
Malay hesitated before eventually shaking his head.
"No... I think I'm fine..." Singa hated the way he had to hesitate.
Since they left the coffee shop and there wasn't much people left, Singa stopped walking next to a bench, placed down the bag of outfits and the drink of Milo before spread his hands for a hug.
Malay, confused why Singa stopped, turned around to see him offering a hug. "What are you doing?"
"Offering you a hug. Do you want it, or am I just making a fool out of myself?"
Malay laughed, and Singa was about to drop his hands when Malay went in for the hug. "I'll take it, but you'll still look like a fool,"
"I know. I don't understand how, as hard I try to hide them, you always end up seeing these sides of me, even from when we were kids,"
"Well, I don't really know why either, but I kind of feel honoured. The prestigious Singapore showing a caring side to me?" Malay pulled away from their embrace.
Singa let out a small smile. "Well, I could say the same. Having the resilient Malaysia all to myself?"
Malay laughed again before the two separated. "Thanks, Singa. You always know how to make me feel better,"
Picking up the bag of outfits and the drink, he chuckled. "Of course. I've been with you long enough to know,"
Malay smiled and nudged him as they continued walking along the walkway. "Oh, do you want the drink? It's not too hot anymore,"
"Mhm." Singa passed him the drink. Looking at the time, Mal realised that they should probably be heading back since it was eight forty-five.
Making back to the front of Aussie's shop, they saw that Indo and Phil were already there and, by what they saw, appear to be flirting. They walked a bit closer before the two realised that Singa and Malay were approaching them.
"There you two are. Had fun on your date, I see?" Indo remarked, raising an eyebrow.
Singa did the same and looked at the bags that Indo had in his hands. "Couldn't I say the same?"
The two looked at each other for a while before nodding simultaneously. Meanwhile, Phil and Malay were talking happily about the items they had gotten.
"Should we go now? It is getting a bit late," Phil suggested. The others agreed, considering the time, and decided to head to the home.
At that point, the parking lot had a considerably less amount of cars than it originally did. They let their pets in the backseat of the car before going in.
As usual, Singa was the one to drive because honestly? If any of the three drove, they would have been dead long ago. The drive was relatively quiet, with little conversation, while the radio was playing music.
-Malay POV-
The music wasn't bad as Singa parked the garage in the car. Phil and Indo headed in first, bringing in all the pets while Singa and I lingered behind.
