"Yeah, I promise."

-Singa's POV-

'Why was Mal crying? This wound wasn't close to the worst injury that I've received? Oh, shit! I fogot to to tell him. Oh no... I'm an idiot...' I thought.

"Mal? Hey, look at me. I am so so sorry I haven't brought this up sooner, but there was something that I had forgotten to tell you,"

Malay looked up at the sound of his old nickname. "I need to tell Indo this too, but remember our animal features? I forgot to tell you guys that one of the other features was inhanced healing. We could heal as fast as our animal counterparts,"

Malay tilled his head. "Before I explain in more depth, why did you come in with alcohol swabs and those other stuff?"

"Oh.. I almost forgot about those. I just wanted to ask whether you can help me check my back. Remember how I got those wounds from before? Yeah..."

"Oh, okay. Then this will be a perfect example to show you. Turn around and remove your shirt for me,"

Malay blushed but still did what I said. His back was completely clear, and there wasn't a single scratch. You would never even have known that he had gotten injured.

I ran my hand around where I remembered the injuries were. He shivered. I took a picture and showed it to him.

"See what I mean? All your wounds have healed,"

Malay took the phone and gasped. He felt his back and went to the mirror to fully see it and was shocked to see it completely clear. He looked at me as I held his shirt out.

He seemed to finally realise that he wasn't wearing a shirt and blushed harder as he grabbed the shirt. He turned around to change while I just leaned back and smirked.

-3rd Person POV-

After Malay changed, he turned around and spoke. "So, how long will it take to heal a wound like that?"

Singa thought about it for a bit before answering. "Based on previous... experiences, It would be mostly functional by tomorrow. The wound would still be there, but it wouldn't look as bad,"

Malay was about to ask about his statement of 'previous experiences', but Singa quickly changed the topic. "Anyways, since you are currently standing in my room right now, I assume you don't feel comfortable enough alone yet?"

Malay was slightly embarrassed and only gave a small nod at the statement. "Yes, if you don't mind..."

Singa shook his head. "No, no. Not at all. Just make yourself comfortable since I just need to brush my teeth. Same arrangement at last time?" He asked.

Malay nodded before Singa left the room and sat down on his bed before eventually lying against the wall. The bed was actually quite comfortable when the day's events had finally caught up to him.

Fatigue hit him like a train, and as much as he tried to fight it, Malay eventually dozed off. The room was filled with silence until Singa came back.

All he saw was Malay lightly snoring while lying down horizonally from the bed. Letting out a small smile, he admired the view before chuckling.
