Chapter 5: Everything's Fine

A/N: I realized in the past chapters that I was only using the first letters of their names for the dialogues. I forgot that some readers are not familiar with the characters so I will write their names from now on. Sorry in advance to one of my supporters but I had to borrow your "Bebe" for this story. 🙏😘😅

After what seemed like over an hour, Jimin finally came back but he wasnt alone, he brought his beloved girlfriend of 6 years. Hand in hand they went in to the private hall where the guys are still having drinks while eating grilled meat.

Jhope: There he is! My bro! Where have you been? Oh, you brought backup I see.
Jhope stood from his sit to give the arriving couple a hug.
Jhope: Chae-chae, how's my favorite girl??

After greeting all the members Chaeyoung proceeded to take a sit besides taehyung which was the closest but Jimin nudged her to move to the opposite side furthest from Taehyung's sit, some of the guys had to standup to let them walk through. Taehyung was a bit disappointed but he didnt let it show.

Chaeyoung: Hello everyone, sorry to barge in to your boy's night out. But this little mochi here told me to come get him.
(Fake glaring at his boyfriend while squishing his cheeks with both hands to make him face her.)
Its been boring, Hobi-oppa. There's nothing else to do besides fashion shows after fashion shows. I missed performing. Its sucks to think that my members have completely forgotten about our group and our fans that are still eagerly waiting. Oh, Tae-oppa, Jen-unnie sends her regards and to Yeontan as well.

Chaeyoung was unaware of the tension between Jimin and Taehyung and also unaware of the fact that Taehyung is actually dating someone else already. Taehyung acted as if nothing's wrong and gave chaeyoung a soft smile.

Taehyung: Thanks Chae, I'll make sure Yeontan gets the message.

Chaeyoung: What's the occasion anyway? I'm pretty sure none of you guys are celebrating your birthdays.

Jimin: Babe, you need to congratulate Tae-tae, he already has a girlfriend. For 6 months now. Can you believe it?
Chaeyoung can hear the sarcasm coming from Jimin and was unsure how to react.

Namjoon: Jimin-ah, knock it off already. Can't you see you're making your girlfriend uncomfortable?

Chaeyoung: Oh! No need to tell me who it is. Its fine. I know I'm not supposed to hear this stuff. After all our NDAs.

Taehyung: It's ok Chaeyoung-ah, I already consider you as my sister. I also want you to find out as you came from the same place.
Chaeyoung's eyes lit up after hearing that Taehyung's new girlfriend is also Autralian like her. She was already imagining all the couple activities that they could do with their men. Probably another hiking trip!

Chaeyoung: Really Tae-oppa? Who's the lucky lady?

Taehyung: her name is Mo Jihye, her stage name is Danielle Marsh. You probably heard of them. NewJeans?
Chaeyoung was shocked to hear that Taehyung is dating Danielle. Of course she knew about NewJeans, they've been called as the new generation blackpink. She also knew that they are quite young.

Chaeyoung: Oh my god oppa! I'm so happy for you! You make a great couple! Imagine the visuals! And you both are also ambassadors of Celine! You'll be the king and queen of the brand. I mean I'm a bit sad that Lalisa is not the ambassador anymore but if it's Danielle, then it's well deserved title.

Taehyung: Thanks Chaeyoung-ah, I know me and Danielle being together is a bit weird due to our age difference. Others may call it creepy even. But love does not always have to be between people of opposite sex, born in the same generation. Love has no limits.
That's why in the music video for Fri(end)s, I was ran over and killed by an old guy driver with his young wife in the passenger sit. I couldnt believe that none of the reactors I saw on Youtube commented on it. And the fact that Dani was giving a heart shape when her member pointed at the couple in the beginning of the video. It's like my way of teasing the public about my relationship without actually showing it.
(None of the guys had any idea that the couple was already hinting about their relationship at that time.)

Jungkook: Aahhh! That's why you had IU, LESSERAFIM, Wooga and NewJeans film reactions to make it less obvious!

Taehyung: I had to. ARMYs are very smart and I am afraid they might catch it.

Jungkook: Wah, that was brilliant and really brave for both of you to do that,
now you inspired me to find love again. Chaeyoung-ah, how's Lisa by the way? I haven't heard from her in ages.

Chaeyoung: Leave Lisa alone Jungkook, she is still quite pissed at you. Besides she's in paris most of the time. Probably dating some sort of rich heir or something, I dunno.

Jin: Relax you rascals, this information is only for everyone present in this room understand? This will cause quite a stir if this breaks out.

Everyone nodded and gave their word of affirmation. Even chaeyoung vowed to bring this secret to her grave as long as its being kept hidden. But she was glad to be trusted with this secret and to be called sister by the Bangtan boys. She also couldn't wait to finally meet Danielle, her aussie sister from another mother. The dinner finally ended and as the guys are getting ready to live, except for Jhope who was passed out at the table. Taehyung took this as a chance to talk to Jimin.

Taehyung: Chaeyoung-ah, do you mind if I borrow Jimin for tonight?

Chaeyoung: Do I even stand a chance? He's your soulmate right? Just bring him back to me before midnight, he still needs to head back to the camp. And no more drinking please. You know how hard it is to get him to wake up when he's hung over.

Taehyung: Yes ma'am.
Taehyung gave Chaeyoung a firm salute and went after Jimin who was already outside.

Taehyung: Jimin-ah! I asked Chaeyoung to give us until midnight to hang out just like old times.
Jimin finally relented and let Taehyung follow him. He knew he wasnt able to keep being upset with him too long, who was he kidding?

They finally reached the park where they talked after the dumpling incident. This is their special place where they share with each other all the things that they couldnt talk about with the other members. Taehyung and Jimin shared a bottle of Soju that Taehyung brought with him from the dinner party. In the old days, they will also do the same while talking about their struggles and dreaming about their future.

Taehyung: Ahh, just like old times.
Taehyung passed the bottle to Jimin after taking a sip. He wasnt really a fan of alcohol but he knew Jimin really likes drinking so he partakes occassionally

Jimin: Taehyung-ah, I'm sorry for talking bad about your girlfriend. You were right, I don't know her. I remember I acted the same around Jennie, turns out she was really sweet and a great match for you. I just don't want you getting hurt again. If this ever become known to the public, it will be very difficult for both of you. Just remember that me and guys are with you.

Taehyung: Thank you Jimin-ah. By the way, Rosie is already planning a double date with me and Dani.

Jimin: You know she's always been a sucker for double dates, eating out and all that lovey-dovey stuff. Sometimes the guys had to pretend to be sick or away just to get out of being dragged around by their women to do some couple activity that Chaeyoung enthusiastically planned out.

Taehyung: That reminds me, remember that hiking trip? Yoongi-hyung got so mad that he called for an uber in the middle of the trek.

Jimin: How can I forget, it was just after our comeback stage for ON, our body is aching all over due to the practice and was expecting a relaxing trip to the spa. Yoongi-hyung didn't talk to me for a week.
The two soulmates continued to share stories and laughed throughout the night. Taehyung finally realized that he didn't need to fear anything as long as his brothers are by his side.
