Chapter 7: Jhope's Discharge

A/N: Just a heads up before reading this, I am not sure which month Jhope finishes and how the military discharge ceremony goes normally.

A huge crowd of Reporters gathered at the Military Gates to cover BTS Jhope's discharge. The ceremony was minimal, just like the way it was with Jin and no ARMYs were present as per the request of Jhope for safety purposes. As the soldiers lined up to congratulate Jhope and the others who completed their service, hugs were shared as well as tearful goodbyes to their brothers in arms. It was evident that Jhope was also well loved by his fellow soldiers the same way as Jin. As he exited the gates, he was greeted by his 6 members, Jin was holding a large bouquet of flowers for Jhope, RM played him a graduation song with his Saxophone while the other members giving him a round of applause for completing his service. After waving to the cameras and people that were there, all 7 members gave a firm bow and headed to their respective vehicles that will take them to the HYBE building.

Jhope, V and RM shared one vehicle.
V: Hyung, how does it feel to finally be a free man?

Jhope: I feel happy and sad at the same time. I really enjoyed my time there. It's like being a trainee all over again. It's hard but fun all together and you only get to serve the military once in your life unless everything goes to shit.

RM: Good for you, we still have more than a year to go.
RM points to him and V.

Jhope: Stop counting and it will go by in a blink of an eye. By the way, what is this dinner party Jin-hyung was texting me about?

V: Oh that was me, I proposed it. Its like what we did a few months ago. And I would like to take this chance to finally introduce Danielle to all of you.

Jhope: I see, that's great! I would love to meet her. I met a few of her members before when we did a dance challenge but not her. I think some of the guys also did too?

V: Yes, but we were not dating at the time and she was too embarassed to say anything to you. That's what she told me.

All the members have finally arrived at the HYBE building. A bunch of the employees cheered and applauded as Jhope and the other members entered the building. Jhope waved and bowed a few times before heading towards the function hall where he will film the V-Live. The other members will head straight to the BTS floor where a huge feast was waiting for them. (A/N: I don't know if BTS have their own floor at HYBE but they should have since their the ones who built HYBE)

At one of the practice room at HYBE, NewJeans are currently working on their new choreography.

Hyein: Guys! BTS is here at the company! Let's go say hi! Dani-unnie come on!

Minji: We're not done yet. We still need to perfect this section before our comeback.

Hyein: We still have 2 months and besides, its Jhope-sunbaenim's discharge ceremony so its a holiday here at HYBE. Now come on!

Haerin: Their probably doing a V-Live now and they need time for themselves to catch up.

Hyein: Dani-unnie, don't you miss your boyfriend? You've only seen each other once this month and only for a short time.

Danielle: I know what you're doing, that won't work on me. I thought you that remember?

Hyein: Fine! After this I'm going there alone! I bet Jin-oppa will be happy to see me.

Hanni: Why should he be happy? He doesn't even know you.

Hyein: Let's see who has the last laugh.
Hyein got up from her sit and went out of the practice room.

Danielle: I'll go get her.
Dani went after Hyein and managed to catch up to her before the elevator doors closed.

Danielle: Yah Hyein-ah! You'll get us in trouble! Come on, let's head back.

Hyein: Come on Dani-unnie! I just want to see them and then let's head back. I won't even say a word to them.
Hyein held her unnie's hand and showed her puppy dog eyes.

Danielle: Fine, one minute. No talking and then we are outta there got it?
Hyein's eyes lit up and jumped around with glee. Danielle pressed the button to the BTS floor. Her heart was beating out of her chest. She decided to remain out of sight, fearing that the guys might see her. She's aware that the BTS boys already knows who she is and her relationship to one of the members, but she wouldn't want to meet them now unprepared. She probably looks terrible due to the none stop practice they have been doing. She wants to make a good impression.

As the elevator doors open, Hyein held Danielle's hand and immediately lead her to the function hall where they usually shoot their V-lives before she could even protest. As they approach the corner, they bumped into one of the guys who came from the opposite direction. It was none other than Jin.

Hyein: Oh my god Jin-oppa! I'm sorry I bumped into you. Dani-unnie was dragging me to see you all.
As Danielle was about to strangle the maknae for pinning the blame on her. Jin began talking to them with a huge grin on his face.

Jin: Oh, Hello! You're Danielle right? It's nice to finally meet you. Taehyung's not kidding, you really do look like a doll.

Danielle: Hello Jin-sunbaenim. We're sorry to disturb your celebration. We're not supposed to be here.
Danielle explained as she bowed to Jin.

Jin: No worries, and you are? I'm afraid I didn't catch your name last time. Its been so long y'know.
Jin addressed the question to Hyein who was speechless through the entire exchange. She was so nervous being in the presence of her bias that she couldn't process a word to say. She just nodded her head as a response to Jin's questions.

Danielle: This is Hyein, sorry she's a little nervous. She has been a long time fan of you specifically.

Jin: Wow really? Thank you so much Hyein-ssi. I appreciate it. Now come on, the guys will be happy to see you both.
(Jin ushered the two to follow along into the hall where the guys are. Dani and Hyein had no choice but to follow.)

Jhope's V-live ended and the rest of the members are already seated at the dinner table eating and talking while having drinks. They were surprise to see Jin arrived with two other guests, and one of them is the girlfriend they have been dying to meet. Taehyung stood up from his seat and gave Dani a tight hug, burying his head at the crook of her neck while swaying side to side.

Taehyung: My baby, I missed you so much. I missed holding you like this. I miss your scent. I miss your smile.

Danielle: Baby, let go. I  just came from practice, I reek. It's embarassing.

Taehyung: No you don't! Don't say that. You always smell amazing.
Hyein just stood awkwardly beside the couple as they showed their PDA.

Jungkook: Hyein-ssi! Hi, come sit here! There's lots of chocolates!
Jungkook kept on patting the open seat beside him, so Hyein went and sat there.

Taehyung: Everyone, I like you to meet my girlfriend. Danielle Marsh.
Taehyung presented her like some grandprize to be won at a gameshow which made everyone laugh and Dani to be embarassed. Each of the members introduced themselves to Danielle and told her that she's always welcome at their BTS family gatherings. They also mentioned to her that all of them except Jungkook are also in a relationship. They are planning for an out of town get away and invited her as well. The guys are so nice and very welcoming that all the nervousness Dani was feeling disappeared completely. Even Hyein was having fun teaching Jhope some of their choreography. They have completely forgotten that they needed to head back to continue their practice. Once the two girls have returned into the dance  studio, they got an earful from their leader and director for missing out on practice for over 2 hours.
