Chapter 20: Seven

The day has finally come for the remaining BTS members' to be discharged from the military. Compared to the first two members, today's discharge ceremony is a bit more upscale. A lot more reporters are there to cover the news as well as huge congratulatory banners and flowers courtesy of the fandom. After saying goodbye to their fellow soldiers, the five BTS members finally exited the military base where hundreds of photographers gathered to take pictures of the them. Jin and Jhope were already there to meet them. After the seven members finally reunited, they waved and bowed to the press before entering their cars. Jin, RM, V and Jimin on the 1st car. Suga, Jhope and Jungkook on the 2nd car.

Jimin: We're finally done with it.

RM: It's been a great experience for all of us. I believe that we've become even more respectable as artists.

Jin: Now that we're all finished, what's the plan?

Taehyung: I was hoping that we could go on a trip, all of us. Including our girlfriends. You know, before we get busy with our comeback.

RM: Let's discuss this later, when we arrive at the company.

On their way to the company, ARMYs lined up on the side of the road outside the HYBE building in order to show support. Even employees of the company congratulated them as they made their way to the BigHit Office for their VLIVE. When the members entered the office, a huge feast was waiting for them courtesy of Jin's restaurant.

Jhope; Wow hyung! You went all out today!

Jin: I know you guys are probably craving something that wasn't served in the military so I prepared every menu we have.

Taehyung: Where are the girls?
(Taehyung asked as he was looking for his girlfriend)

Jimin: They said they bought us a cake and they're on their way back.

RM: We should probably start the VLIVE. I'm already getting hungry just looking at the food.

Danielle and Rosé are on their way to the famous cafe to pickup the cake they bought for their boyfriends. Danielle was surprised to see Jennie, sitting on one of the tables there. When their eyes met, Jennie stood up and called out to them.

Jennie: Danielle, can we talk?

Danielle was about to walk out when Jennie called out to her again.

Jennie: Danielle please, just listen to me for a minute and then you won't have to see me ever again.

Rosé: Go on Dani', at least listen to what she has to say. I'll wait in the car. See you later unnie.

Danielle finally turned around and sat at Jennie's table. They are now face to face.

Danielle: What do you want Jennie-ssi?

Jennie: I want to say I'm sorry for what I did to you and Taehyung. I was not in a good place. Everything falling apart around me. When I want to make things right with Taehyung, I found out you're already in a relationship with him. I was the one who spread the dating rumor. I thought you that you'll just break his heart. But after a while I realized that you're truly in love with him. I want to make things right and apologize to you for all the damage I've done. I hope you'll forgive me.

Danielle: You know Jennie-ssi, if I wasn't madly in love with Taehyung, I would climb over this table and strangle you.
(This earned a laugh from Jennie)
If anything, you even helped our relationship by exposing us. If it was a different story and Taehyung broke up with me because of what you did, I would have probably murdered you. But it all worked out in the end, so I have you to thank for that.

Jennie: Ummm.. thank you.. Danielle. And congratulations, you two really belong together. Sometimes Taehyung is such a pushover, he needs someone tough like you to keep him safe from those who'll abuse his kindness.
