It had been four months since the fateful day Izuku acquired his quirk, "Ready Player One." The dungeon incident in which the mercenaries attempted to kill him tortured his thoughts, as did the mystery of their boss. He did some dungeons and rose his level to 35.

At school, his classmates noticed the change and maintained their distance. Katsuki had now been surpassed in class by his former target. Izuku's grades got to the top of the class, annoying Bakugou.

Despite this, Bakugou and the others avoided direct confrontation with Izuku, fearing the new aura of power that surrounded him. The teachers observed the change in characteristics but decided not to step in, hoping that the tension would resolve properly.

Izuku sat in his classroom, his eyes focused on the textbook in front of him. He could feel the stares of his classmates, their curiosity and fear palpable in the air. He had become an enigma, his sudden rise in grades and physical prowess a mystery to all.

The bell rang, signaling the end of the period. As Izuku gathered his books, he overheard a group of students whispering.

??: Did you hear? Midoriya aced the last test again. He's even surpassing Bakugou now.

??: Yeah, and without even using his quirk. If he is strong without his quirk I wonder how strong he will be with quirk.

Izuku paid them no attention. He had more important things to think about, like figuring out who hired the mercenaries who tried to kill him.

The class headed to the gym for the day's fitness test. Izuku sensed the usual tension in the air as they lined up for the various tests. Bakugou was already there, with his burning glare fixed on Izuku.

??: Alright, listen up! "The gym teacher's voice boomed through the gym". Today we'll be testing your physical abilities. No quirks allowed except one on one. I want to see your raw strength and endurance.

The tests began, and each student took their turn. Izuku walked through each station with ease, his training and self-control visible at every step. He ran the sprint in record time, crushed the push-ups, and broke the long jump record.

Bakugou watched, his frustration growing with each of Izuku's successes. By the time they reached the final test, his patience had worn thin.

The final test was a one-on-one combat drill. The students gathered around the mat, their excitement building. This was the moment they had been waiting for.

??: Midoriya, Bakugou, you're up! '"the gym teacher called".

Katsuki: You think you can keep hiding your Quirk from me, Deku?" Bakugou sneered, his hands crackling with explosive energy. "I'm going to make you spill it, and then I'll show you who's the top dog around here!"

Izuku remained silent, his expression unreadable. His emerald eyes narrowed slightly as he made a bring-it gesture which made Bakugou angrier.

As students gathered for their one-on-one combat rounds, there was visible tension in the air. Izuku and Bakugou stood opposite each other, with the rest of the class remaining at the side, eager to witness their fight.

The instructor raised his hand.

??: Alright, Midoriya, Bakugou, you know the rules. No lethal force. Begin!

Bakugou wasted no time, launching himself at Izuku with an explosive speed.

Katsuki: I'll crush you, Deku! "His hands sparked with explosions as he rushed towards his childhood "Friend".

Izuku, however, remained calm. As Bakugou approached, he sidestepped with ease, his actions measured and accurate. Bakugou's punch missed by an inch, and Izuku responded with a quick, devastating punch to Bakugou's stomach.
