The arena was buzzing with the aftermath of Izuku and Shoto's heated showdown. Fans in the stands couldn't stop talking, their voices filling the air with a mixture of excitement and disbelief. Izuku, the dark horse of the tournament, had once again proven his strength, overwhelming Shoto Todoroki in a match that would be talked about for years to come. The battle between Shoto's ice and fire against Izuku's quirk was fierce, but ultimately, Izuku emerged victorious.

Katsuki stood nearby, his fists clenched tightly, teeth gritted. He overheard fans eagerly dissecting every moment of the fight. Their praise of Izuku and astonishment at Shoto's abilities grated on his nerves.

??: Did you see how Midoriya dodged that ice wall?! "one voice exclaimed".

??: And then Todoroki switched to his fireside—it was insane! I didn't expect him to go all out like that.

Katsuki scoffed, feeling a burning irritation settle in his chest.

Katsuki: Damn nerds... Can't believe they're getting so much attention, "he muttered to himself. The very idea of Izuku surpassing him gnawed at him, and the crowd's admiration only made the sting worse. Katsuki was determined to make his own mark, but with everyone so focused on the recent battle, it felt like his thunder was stolen".

Meanwhile, Shoto was being led to Recovery Girl's office. His body ached from the intensity of the fight, especially where Izuku's blows had landed. But more than the physical pain, the emotional turmoil of the battle churned in his thoughts. Using his left side—his fire, something he'd long rejected—had come so naturally in the heat of combat. Yet, the victory had still eluded him.

After Recovery Girl's usual treatment, the fatigue lifted from Shoto's limbs, but his mind remained conflicted. As he walked through the corridor, lost in his thoughts, a familiar and imposing figure stepped into view—Endeavor, his father.

Enji: Shoto, "his deep voice echoed through the hallway. There was a moment of silence between them, the weight of past tension lingering in the air". You lost today, "he stated, his tone devoid of surprise but carrying a hint of disappointment". But You used your fire. "He continued a flicker of pride evident". You've started to embrace your full potential. This is only the beginning, Shoto. You can still become stronger. I know you're on your own path, but after graduation, I want you to think about working as my sidekick. I can teach you how to master both sides completely.
