Chapter 22

Y|n's P.O.V.

A few days later, I woke up very early because I had a nightmare. I wish Jamie was here with me...

-You're up early.

I kept staring at the window. I'm still mad at him for taking me away from Jamie. As if he read my thoughts he said:

-Your boyfriend is on his way here.

My eyes widened. He can't keep choosing me over his job! We are talking about the Royal Family of England here! I made him promise me that if he ever had to choose between me and his job he won't think twice about who to choose. 

He has a bright future ahead. He is smart, handsome and reliable. After Ellie will ascend the throne, next year, she won't need Jamie anymore so he can even start his own company since he already has lots of money and doesn't have to worry about the future.

My dad's phone buzzed:

-Looks like they're here!

He smirked and got out of the room.

They? I thought it was just Jamie...

Five minutes later, the door opened again.

-Y|n?

Saskia sat down on the bed and untied my hands and ankles.

-Jamie is downstairs with your dad.

She hugged me and said:

-Jamie won't be too happy to see how much weight you've lost.

I didn't say anything, I couldn't. What happened in the past three weeks was just too much for me. 

-Hey, he wants to talk to you.

Saskia nodded and smiled at me before getting out of the room. Now I was alone with Jamie. I got up and ran in his arms. I hugged him tight, afraid that if I let go he will dissapear.

-Shh, it's alright, I'm here, beautiful.

After a few minutes he pulled away to look at me, his hands still on my waist.

-You've lost so much weight, baby...

He sighed and kissed my forehead.

-Don't worry, everything will be ok, I promise.

RIght then, my dad entered the room.

-We need to talk. Now.

Jamie nodded and pressed a soft kiss to my lips before saying:

-I'll be right back. I love you.

He smiled and they got out of the room. My dad locked the door and I sighed, sitting down on the bed.
