Chapter 23

Jamie's P.O.V.

Saskia was explaining her plan to Y|n's father while I was sitting down next to her. I couldn't stop thinking about Y|n. Even if she was upstairs and I could always go to her, I was very worried about her.

Suddenly I remembered she didn't eat anything for the past three weeks. I got up.

-Y|n needs to eat.

Her dad looked at me:

-Her dinner is on the table.

He motioned to a paper bag that was on the table before handing me the room key.

-Don't forget to lock the door when you're done.

I sighed and nodded before grabbing the bag and going upstairs.

I unlocked the door and entered the room closing the door behind me. I turned the lights on and saw Y|n on the bed, hugging her knees.

-Baby?

She looked at me and smiled before opening her arms for a hug. I chuckled but gave her a hug anyways.

-How are you feeling?

She shrugged.

-I'm feeling better now that you're here.

I smiled and looked at her. This was the first time she said something since she has been here. I kissed her and said:

-I brought you something to eat.

-I'm not hungry right now. But I'll eat it later.

I shook my head.

-You need to eat.

She was about to say something but I said:

-You promised me.

She hesitated for a second and nodded.

I took the food out of the bag and handed it to her.

-Here. Eat.

She sighed but took the food from my hands and started eating.

I smiled and kissed her forehead as praise.

After 10 minutes, Y|n finished her food and sat in my lap. She put her head on my chest while I was rubbing her back.

-Babe?

-Yes, beautiful?

-I want to go home...

I closed my eyes and sighed.

-I know, baby...Give me a few days, ok? I promise I'll get you out of here.

She nodded softly and I kissed her head.

-I have to go back...

-Can you stay at least until I fall asleep, please?

I looked at her and smiled softly.

-Of course.

She smiled and kissed me before laying down. I started to play with her hair and she closed her eyes.

After a few minutes, she fell asleep and I whispered:

-Good night, baby.

I kissed her head before getting out of the room.
