Chapter 30

Y|n's P.O.V.

-Are you comfortable?

I chuckled and nodded.

-Ok...

Jamie sat down in his seat next to me and I put my head on his shoulder.

-Try to get some sleep. I'll wake you up when we land.

-I'm not tired.

He sighed and nodded.

-Ok...

I looked at him.

-What are you thinking about?

He looked at me.

-You.

I looked at him confused.

-Me? Is it about my wound?

He shook his head.

-No, baby. It's just that...I don't want to leave you.

I sighed and looked at Saskia who was on the other side of the plane, watching a movie on her tablet with her AirPods in, to give us some privacy.

-Babe...I know it's not easy but you don't have to worry about leaving me. I won't be alone. I'll have Ellie, Anastasia and our friends from school.

I paused for a second and said:

-In fact, I should be worried about you.

It was his turn to look at me confused.

-Why would you be worried about me?

I shrugged.

-I don't know where will you be and we won't be able to talk to each other...

He shook his head.

-I don't want you to be worried about me, beautiful. I want you to focus on your life, yeah? Can you do that for me, baby?

I nodded.

He smiled and kissed my forehead.

-Now, we should be taking off soon. Are you hungry?

-No.

He nodded and asked the flight attendant to bring him a salad and a lemonade with ice.

When he got his food he turned to me.

-Are you sure you don't want some?

-Yeah, I'm sure.

-At least drink this. You need to stay hydrated.

He handed me the lemonade and I took it, grateful it had ice in it.

The rest of the flight went by quickly, so as soon as we landed, Jamie started to plan our day.

-So, we are going to the hospital first, then to Rosewood. Sounds good?

Saskia nodded.

-Maybe we should go to Rosewood first?

They looked at me and Saskia said:

-Even if we do that, you still have to go to the hospital after, you know that, right?

I nodded.

-I know, I just don't want to go now.

She looked at Jamie and he nodded.

-It's ok, we can go after we finish at Rosewood if that's what you want.

We got in the car, heading to Rosewood.
