Numbing, numbing, numbing,
fingers, toes, ears, nose.
Lightly falling snow,
pricks skin,
only making it colder.
Frozen, frozen, frozen.
Suddenly,
warmth, warmth, warmth,
heat, heat, heat,
hot, hotter, hottest.
Burning, burning, burning.
Frigid,
Frosted,
Frozen,
Nothingness.
