A scientist
Love to predict
Ecstatic when a fossil is found
Oh, so many fun things to do!
Never giving up because
They find fossils
Ongoing layers of crust and
Lots of periods to study like
Ordovician, Permian, and Cambrian
Get up early in the morning to find
Invertebrate or vertebrae fossils,
Study both kinds in a lab.
Tools are important to find your fossil, but
So are determination, and imagination!
