I woke up to my everyday alarm for work, meaning it is seven. I groaned, sitting up and seeing both boys gone. I frowned, but figured they had to leave before anyone would be able to know they were here.

I got up, getting ready for the day, giving my boss a quick call about needing to go into the station. She said I don't need to worry about it, and to just come in when I can.

I grabbed some breakfast and soon, Mark was ringing the buzzer for my gate. I grabbed my bag, rushing outside.

I hopped into his car after I made sure the gate was closed, greeting him with a smile. "Morning Detective."

"Morning Hazel," he smiled back, looking at me in amusement as he started to drive. "You seem to be in an awfully good mood."

"Yeah, I reconnected with some friends last night," I said. "We talked for hours." Then my eyes widened and I added, "Over the phone, of course."

He chuckled. "Well that's good." I nodded watching as we made our way to the station, sitting in a comfortable silence.

When we walked in, I was annoyed to see Gale waiting in Mark's office. But I smiled when I noticed Dewey as well.

We walked inside his office and he closed the door. "Miss Weathers, Mr. Riley," Mark greeted them.

"Hey Dewey," I smiled.

"Morning Hazel," Dewey smiled back. Gale rolled her eyes and I turned to Mark.

"Okay, so last night, Sarah went to the studio, under the impression she was to be meeting Roman," he started.

"How do we know that?" I asked.

"She ran into Tyson and a makeup artist. That's the story she told them."

"Okay," I said.

"So, after they left, about an hour later, the makeup artist went back because they forgot something. We have all of that on cctv. That is when they found her body."

"And we know for sure it's not the makeup artist?" Gale asked.

"Yeah, they had an alibi, and were seen on security footage at a store and restaurant."

Dewey spoke up, "Did they see anyone else on the cameras?"

"They caught a glimpse of the costume, but that is it. And it's not enough to give us any idea about who could be wearing it." Mark sighed deeply, shaking his head at the dead end. He then picked up a paper from the desk, turning it around to reveal another headshot of a young Maureen. "This was found with her body."

The three of us stepped closer, trying to see if there was anything significant about the photo. "Why are they leaving pictures of Maureen Prescott? It doesn't make any sense," Dewey said with a shake of his head.

"I didn't even know she was an actress," I said.

"Well, she did leave Woodsboro for a couple years, right out of highschool. But then she came back, got with Neal and soon after had Sidney," Dewey said.

"Everyone connected to her is dead, so why leave pictures of her?" I mumbled, looking at the two side by side.

"Wait, the background in that one, it looks familiar," Gale said.

"Is that at Sunshine Studios?" Dewey asked.

"Yeah, I think it is," Mark said looking closer.

"Maybe I could go to the studio and look in the archives, see if I can find anything about Maureen there," Gale suggested.

"That would be great," Mark said with a nod.

"I can assist you, since I know my way around," Dewey said.
