The ghostface holding onto me removed his hand that held my head, but kept the knife in place. Using his free hand, he pulled off the mask, my breath hitching as I came face to face with him. Billy Loomis.
He smirked down at me, his eyes roaming my face and I slowly started to smile. He returned the gesture, lowering the knife. I heard it fall to my desk as I turned my chair around, so I was fully facing him. I glanced over, seeing Stu lounging on my bed, his mask sitting beside him as he looked at the two of us intently.
"You're finally here," I breathed, looking between the two.
Billy didn't say anything, he just stepped forward, grasping my face in his hands gently and connecting our lips. I melted into him, gripping onto the black cloak, pulling him closer. His kiss was full of passion, love, and desperation.
When he pulled away, he rested his forehead against mine, brushing his thumbs against my cheeks. "I'm sorry it took so long, darling."
I shook my head, looking up at him with a small smile. "I'm so glad you're here."
"Hey, what about me?" Stu whined, now standing beside us. I pulled back from Billy turning to Stu with a grin and wrapping my arms around his neck. He instantly connected our lips, both of us smiling. "I missed you so much, baby," he said against my lips.
I sighed, pulling back to look at the two of them. Then a thought occurred to me, followed by a few more. "Okay, I have some questions," I said, causing the two of them to chuckle. "But first, please take those ugly costumes off."
"Yes, ma'am," Stu mock saluted.
They took off the cloaks, and looked at me expectedly. "Did you kill Cotton?"
"No, we didn't," Billy said.
I nodded, "Okay, and did you call earlier?"
"No, that wasn't us," Stu shook his head.
"I knew it," I said. "Weird I got a call while you two were here."
"Yeah, it was our... partner," Stu said, causing Billy to glare at him.
"Your partner?" I asked.
Billy sighed, "You'll find out more soon. Just trust us."
I pursed my lips before nodding, "Okay." I looked between them again, a slight frown on my lips. "What took so long?"
"We wanted to stay away, to give you a good life. One without the murdering and hiding," Stu said.
"We kept tabs on you, we've been around. Watching you. But now, our partner is ready for you to know about him, and the truth about things. He wants us to keep a distance, like we have been, but if you're going to be back in our lives, we needed to really see you."
I shook my head, smiling a little, "I knew you had to have been around. But, what do you mean 'the truth about things'?"
"You'll know soon enough."
"Well, does this mean I get to be with you guys finally?" I asked hopefully.
"Soon. We have to finish the plan, and then, you will be all ours." The two smirked and I felt butterflies in my stomach, so happy to hear that.
Just then, the phone rang. The boys nodded for me to answer, both taking a seat on my bed. I turned back around, picking up the phone. "Hello?"
"Hazel, it's Mark," Detective Kincaid said into the phone, sounding a little distressed.
"Oh, hey Mark," I said, messing with a pen. "Is everything okay?"
He sighed, "No, not exactly."
"What happened?" I asked, sitting up straight.
"Sarah Darling was just found murdered at the studios."
I gasped. "Oh shit."
"Yeah," he sighed again and I could picture him running a hand through his thick hair. "Would you be able to come in tomorrow? We're questioning everyone who was there today."
"Yeah, I'll come in."
"Great, I can swing by your house and pick you up?"
I bit back a smile at the nervousness in his voice, "Sure."
"Okay, I'll see you around nine."
"See you then, Detective." I hung up, spinning back to look at my boys.
"Sounds like you're getting close to the law," Billy said with a displeased look on his face.
I rolled my eyes, "I just met him this afternoon. They asked for my help with the investigation."
"You didn't even know who the killer was until they revealed themselves both times," Stu chuckled.
I shook my head, "Yeah, I know. I guess it's also for my protection." They looked at each other and I smiled. "Doing a great job seeing as you two are in here."
"Baby, I don't think you know how many times we've been here without you knowing."
"Wait, really?"
"Mmhm," Billy smirked, stalking towards me. "Your security password is incredibly easy to guess."
"Our birthdays," Stu raised his eyebrows looking at me in amusement.
I blushed in embarrassment. "Well, how often have you been here?"
"Most days, and nights." My eyes widened. How have I never noticed? "We're good at stalking you, darling."
I took a shaky breath as they got closer to me, looking between them with so many feelings coming at me all at once. "So you know how boring my life is," I said.
"Why don't you have any friends?" Stu asked, seeming to be genuinely curious.
"They always end up dead. Better to keep to myself than doom anyone who gets close to me." They both frowned at this and I shrugged. "But, I kind of have friends at work."
"We've seen you at work, you sit and read."
I blushed, looking down. "Yeah, I guess you're right." I looked back up at them, smiling. "But you're here now."
"Yeah," Stu grinned. Billy took my hand, pulling me up from the chair and bringing me over to my bed, sitting me down between the two of them.
"So, tell me about your years hiding from the law? How's it been being fugitives?"
They chuckled, and the three of us talked for hours until I ended up falling asleep, all of us laying side by side on our backs.
