I stumbled my way through the trees on my usual path toward the lake. There has been a lot on my mind lately, so I decided to grab a book and have a day with nature. I met the lake and took a deep breath, I looked around and smiled at the beauty of the nature surrounding me. I set up my blanket and got comfortable with my book. A few hours passed and it started to get dark so I decided to call it a day. I packed everything up and got on my way home.

I was walking through the woods and found myself on a different path, I started to panic when I saw a house in the distance. Instead of getting more freaked out like I probably should have, the closer I got the more welcomed I felt, almost like I was drawn to it. I hyped myself up for a moment before knocking on the door. As my fist met the door it pushed it open, before walking through I turned to see the now pitch black woods. I took a deep breath and walked in the house, maybe against my better judgement but it seemed better than the woods at that moment. " Hello? I dont mean to barge in but the door was open.. I'm so sorry this is so rude of me but the woods look worse than whatever could be in this house. " I said into the empty house. No furniture, no decorations, no signs that anyone has been in this house for as long as its stood. Something felt like it was pulling me around, my body got hotter and hotter as I made my way down a hallway, which led to stairs. As if I lost control of my body, I made my way down the stairs and was met by the only things that littered the house. Six chests scattered around the room. Each of them with an etching into the top of them.

I ran my finger along the tops of the chests, the first read Soren. Down the line they read Nokomis, Aspen, Alarick, Makari, and Rieka. When I got to the last chest, something inside me felt drawn to it. I opened the chest to be met with something jumping out at me.
