MS was sitting alone in his room with a recent interview Yuvraj Singh had given playing on loop. In which he revealed that he and MS Dhoni, once the closest of friends on and off the field, were no longer good friends. The words struck a deep chord within him, who, despite his composed exterior, was heartbroken.

Sakshi who came to call him for dinner saw him sitting staring blankly at the screen repeating that particular question again and again, she watched him with concern. She knew how much Yuvi's friendship had meant to him. "You should talk to him, Mahi," she suggested gently.

MS who already had that plan in his mind just needed a little confirmation and he finally got that.

A week later, MS and Yuvraj decided to meet. If not to mend their friendship, at least to gain some closure. They agreed to meet at a secluded part of the stadium, away from prying eyes of people and media.

Both of them reached the decided place on time, and for the nth time both of them realised how things had changed between them, there was a time when they didn't had to think before saying anything to eachother and here they are now sitting in silence waiting for eachother to say something.

MS decided to break the silence and come straight to the point there is no point of beating around the bushes anyway, "Where did it go wrong yuvi?" he asked, the vulnerability clear in his voice. Yuvraj looked at him and he could see the anger in his eyes already but he chose to ignore it "The question doesn't suit you ms... you are the reason" he said the anger dripping in his tone.

"Yu-" he tried but the other doesn't seem to be in any mood to listen
"Just shut up!" he almost yelled.
"You- I regret being friends with a selfish human like you more than anything in my life" he said with so much anger and hatred that ms felt a physical pain.

"I-"

"You snatched my dream, my position and everything from me and still you dared to ask where it went wrong? Stop playing the victim card ms there is no media here or wait did you call someone?"

"But yuvi my decisi-" he tried explaining but again yuvi cut him off, his voice cracking and emotions getting the better of him. "For betterment of team? For nation? Then congratulations caption mahender singh dhoni you're a successful captain but guess what you failed as a friend, even if we keep the cricket aside. You weren't there for me when I was fighting between life and death-"

"I tri-" MS tried speaking above his loud voice but he seemed determined not to let him speak a word.

"Don't lie! Couldn't take out even a few minutes to talk to me? Or are you too busy removing seniors from the team? You know what ms I realized it, my dad was always right about you, you're a fucking traitor and I hate you!" he didn't even realize he was yelling by the end until he saw him flinch back and his chin trembling, he felt bad but his anger had blinded him.

"Yuvi-"

"Yuvraj, it's yuvraj for strangers or people like you" he said, this time his voice void of any emotions, MS was almost ready to get on his knees and beg for him to listen but yuvraj was in no mood.

"Please, let me explain," MS pleaded, his eyes filled with pain looking close to crying.

Yuvraj shook his head, hardening his heart, he knew if he saw him crying he would end up forgiving him and he wouldn't do it, definitely not right now. "No, Mahi. I've heard enough." With that, he turned and walked away, not daring to look back because he knew he had struck a nerve. He knew he had made his Mahi cry.

Back in his hotel room, he tried to distract himself with television, but his mind kept wandering back to the confrontation. Slowly realizing maybe, maybe he went overboard? He didn't why he had this feeling that something in not right something is wrong.
