Disclaimer 2: Prepare yourselves, this is a very brutal chapter, and it'll only get worse....

Kuroshitsuji POV

"You idiot! You weren't supposed to kill him! Now how will we get answers!?"

"My lord, he is not dead, rather he's merely unconscious from a lack of air. However, he is much more fragile than I thought he'd be, if I do say so."

Ciel, Sebastian, and the others stood over Jason's body, each looking at the man with contempt. Yes unfortunately, as the brat has stated, it'd be extremely unwise to kill him. Not only is he their only current source for answers, but he's also the only one with the means to provide them a place to stay. In other words, no matter how much they may want to, killing the man would be a fool's gambit.

Not to mention...

Ronald thinks aloud, "I think we might be forgetting something...wasn't there another person we should be concerned about?"

The others pause for a moment to think before Ciel groans, "Shit! We forgot about the girl!"

"Language young master." Sebastian chastises. "A nobleman using such language is unbecoming. Especially one as young as you are."

Ciel snarled at his butler's insult. Leave it to the demon to pick at him whenever an opportunity presents itself.

"Sod off will you!? What right have you to care about aesthetics while looking so disheveled?! Besides, now isn't the bloody time! That girl is attached to an all powerful entity, one that's perhaps even stronger than you are! If it sees what we've done to the big baboon, we'll be dead within minutes. Or worse!"

Sebastian's eyes narrow at the mention of the entity being stronger than him. He knows who the entity is, unlike the young brat, and while she may be incredibly formidable, she is not better than him. The wagtail still cowers at her own emotions, much like most other pathetic humans. All he needs to do is wear her down, break her, then she'll be putty in his hands.

Heh, literally.

"Enough, you two. Goodness me, you fight worse than cats and dogs."

William stood adjacent to the man's body, poking him gingerly with a large stick, stance dignified despite his ragged appearance.

"His injuries aren't fatal, but they will take a while to heal. We need to get him elevated and have his wounds dressed immediately for optimal healing. It's best we do so before that thing arrives back to her keeper's domain, we will surely be in trouble if we don't."

Grelle scoffs as she runs her fingers through her now choppy red hair, picking out the bows and throwing them to the ground.

"Ugh, must we bother with him? I'd rather just leave him here to rot. We're no longer cats so we should be able to take it on, right? Besides, look at what that awful man did to my hair! My luster....my beauty....ruined!!"

The red reaper dramatically sobs as she leans heavily into William, attempting to force her way into his arms. Instead, she fell over on her face into the dirt as he sidestepped out of her way.
