"Are you stalking me Lando Norris?"
"No."
"Well, you've liked all my posts to 2019."
"But it was only like 30 posts!?"
"So you have been liking my posts!"
"No? Come on Jenny, you trapped me!"
"Well you're stalking me!"
"No I'm not.... maybe?"
"LANDO!"
"I was just having a look, okay?"
It's a few days before Belgium and Lando's coming off a hard race in Hungary. We haven't kissed again and even worse, haven't talked about it. He's really bad at talking about things. Just in general. He's been to the cafe once and in that time he made me drop a drink, flush like an idiot and almost faint. It was terrible. And he laughed his perfect laugh and smiled his perfect smile.
He's currently on his way to fly out to Belgium and I'm sitting trying to finish my puzzle but can concentrate because he's talking to me. I also couldn't concentrate because my instagram was blowing up with notifications. And that's thanks to Lando.
"You're a terrible lier." I scoff. I find a corner piece and finally finish my border line. "Let's go."
"What going?" Lando asks.
"Oh, found a corner piece." I say, matter of fact.
"Sweet" He whistles out. I hear Max, who's driving the car and could crash Lando at any moment if he pisses him off, say something. "Fuck off Max I'm not a bitch and I'm talking to you about my feelings."
"You have feelings?" I gasp, making fun of him and the situation.
"Jen!" He whisper shouts down the line. "You're supposed to be on my side!"
"But I'm fascinated that you have feelings!" I respond and I hear Max cackle in the back ground. "Max understands."
"I do!"
"Ow Max! Not in my fucking ear!"
"Sorry."
A knock turns my head to the entry way.
"Jen!" Ginny trills through the door. "I forgot my key, open up!"
"Coming!" I leave my phone on the table, Lando on speaker phone and make my way to the door. "What do you want?"
"Finally." Ginny gasps as I swing the door open. "Sorry about that." She barges in and spots the phone with Lando's name on it. She swings her head to me, open mouthed and looking like I just said I was marring a rich mafia dude.
"Lando?" She tests out.
"Yeah, Ginny you okay?"
"I'm so good right now Lando," She says, open mouthed. "Just so confused." She sing songs and decides to leave and galavant to the kitchen.
"She okay?" Lando's sweet, sweet voice asks through my phone as I try not to run after Ginny and tackle her.
"Yes, let me call you... back and, and good luck." I say, stumbling over words and getting it out quickly.
"Okay darling." His endearment makes me want to fall to my knees and ask him to marry me but I don't. "Thank you and make sure to watch me absolutely destroy everybody else." He whispers that last part. "Especially Charles."
The line goes dead. "Where are the crips?" Her voice travels from the kitchen as she rifles through my kitchen.
I run my hand over my forehead, a headache starting to form. "In, in- um the pantry, bottom corner, two."
"Thanks babe!"
I make my way to the kitchen and find her bend in a cupboard, rustling through everything I set up perfectly to have system. She's ruining my system.
"You okay Ginny?" She pops her head out as gives me a smile, finding the crips.
"Grand! Wanted to know if you were coming on me and Charles's vacation?" She cracks the bag open, spilling some on the ground. I move to get the broom and she steps to of the way to let me clean up. "Sorry."
"Sure, yeah, why not." I say and her face lights up.
"Great! It's gonna be me, Charles, Arthur, Jade, Max F, Pietra and maybe Lando but I'm not sure."
"Lando?" I question and she nods like I'm stupid.
"Yeah, if Max is gonna go, Lando will follow." Ginny and Max like each other and talk when Max decides to come to a race weekend. They're good friends which weirdly confuses everybody.
"I get that." I mutter out as she leaves me to clean up the mess she made. "You gonna with Charles tonight?"
Charles is flying out tonight for Belgium and Ginny being his wife, she's usually goes with him. I swear sometimes she forgets she has a job. Just following around Charles for a living.
"Nope, Rebecca's not going so I'm not." She states like I should know. I don't know Ginny, I don't know three people's schedules.
"Jade seems amazing." I finish my sweeping and look around for the dust pan.
"She's lovely and Arthurs really happy." She chews and comes to stop in the door way to the kitchen. "Carla texted me, asking if Arthur was okay."
"That sweet." I grumble, bending down to scoop up the crisp that I swept up in a perfect pile. Carla's been my favourite of Arthur's girlfriends. He's had so many that i've lost track. Being the younger Leclerc brother and girls wanting a piece of that, he's in high demand. So when I meet one, it's best to be cautious. Arthurs quite the ladies man.
But the way Arthur looked at this girl. Damn. Like the sun shined out her in every possible. And then Jade comes along and he look at het the same way just gentler. Sweeter and more responsible.
"Well, I'm off." Ginny grumbles out, plopping the bag down on the counter then bolting out before get the chance to yell at her. "Bye!!!"
"Fuck you!!!" I sing back and hear a sharp laugh before the door closes with a loud bang.
