I blink awake, light streaming through the window I desperately wanted. I bring my hand up to protect my eyes, trying to quickly adjust to my surroundings. The blanket is gently yanked to one side and rustling follows. My gaze travels to my side to see Lando curled up, facing away and breathing softly. His shirt is crumpled and duvet covers his waist.

As quietly as I can, I throw the blanket away and make my way to grab my pyjamas that I forgot to put on last night  and then tiptoe to the bathroom. After, I take a few painkillers and scrub my face to remove all makeup I didn't get off last night. I brush my teeth and make my way out of the room, Lando still sound asleep and barely moving.

Feet padding, I follow the constricting corridors up to the kitchen. Ginny is sitting on the counter, drinking a cup of what I smell is coffee.

"Morning." I yawn out. She nods a hello and sips her drink. Her feet dangle off the counter and her hair is a mess. "Have fun last night?" I smirk.

"....Maybe." She grins out, her eyes lighting up. I open up a cupboard and look for a mug. "One to your right." She helps.

"Thanks." I push my hair out of my face and take two out. I flip the kettle switch and draw the coffee over the counter. It makes a low grumble.

"So, you and Lando?" Ginny pipes up. I can hear her smug smile from under her mug.

"What about us?" The kettle starts to whistle so I pull it off the stand. Steam wafts off the water as I pour into the mugs. The water swirls into the coffee, turning a chocolate brown.

"You were very touchy feely last night." She says, matter of fact. I open the fridge by Ginny and give her massive side eye.

"Were we? I didn't notice." I only pour milk into one cup and then plant it back. The lid squeaks slightly as screw it back on.

"You defo were."

"Sugar?"

"In the pot that says sugar." She gestures to the other side of the kitchen. They're lined up, sugar, flour and a smaller one that says salt.

"Thanks." I pull open a drawer, hoping for utensils which I find. My hand grabs the sugar and I take a small spoon full. "I was a tiny bit tipsy so he just helped me get back the room."

"Huh." She sips again, this time slurping as she narrows her eyes at me. "Who's the second coffee for?"

"Mornin'." Lando's interrupts, voice gruff and full of sleep. I turn to see him waltz in, his hair sticks up in all direction, shirt creased and trousers hanging dangerous low.

Not that I was looking.

Calming his hair, his shirt pulls up giving me a peek at his stomach and the lines leading down. My face heats up and I turn away quickly, stirring the coffee.

"Jenny. How you feeling?" One of his hands comes to rest gently on my hip as the other supports him on the counter, his lips close to my ear. Shivers coat my back.

"I'm okay, bit of a headache." I whisper, cheeks lighting up even further. His feather light touch on my hip threatens to send me into overdrive.

"Did you take some painkillers?" He whispers back. I nod in respond, starting into the abyss that is the coffee. "One of those for me?"

"I know how to make your coffee so I thought why not?" I smile up at him. Closer, I can see the lines of the pillow imprinted on his face and his cheeks a light pink.

He is so beautiful.

"You're perfect, thank you." He leans in near to take his coffee, his thumb swiping a circle on my hip before removing it. He walks out of the kitchen, in the direction of the table and sun outside.
