Lando
I had a great night. I got laid, won a Grand Prix and saw Jenny. Weird to put Jenny in that list but whatever, I'll think about it later. My feet slap down on the concrete, shaded by massive trees adorning the sides of the street. Buildings smiles back at me from their resting place, clean fronts and sparkling steps. Max stops beside me on this beautiful day, angry that I forced him off the SIM to come and get coffee with my lovely self.
"I can believe you almost left with two girls. You're such a man whore." Max mutters but I ignore his jab. It's a bright Tuesday morning, birds singing and quiet. The sun beats down on my skin, reviving the tan that so many people (girls) like. The black t-shirt doesn't help with repealing sun away but whatever.
The blond that I brought home was raving about my skin. Her's was covered up in a hell lot of make up but I guess it didn't stop me enjoying the work out. I had gotten away from her as soon as I woke up, the girl seeming like the 'Let me make you coffee' type of person.
"You listening to me?" Max's small hand is waved in front of my eyes and I blink back to reality.
"No." I say shortly and Max rolls his eyes. "Did you say something important?"
"Yes, are you still going to that vacation with Charles and Ginny?" Max walks slowly beside me as I try to pick the speed up. Time is always of the essence.
"Yea, Charles invited me ages ago." I spot the cafe a ways up and hurry my pace a bit. "Don't say anything stupid."
"Of course my master, anything for you." He answers back in a jokey tone, mocking me.
"This is that last time i'm seeing her for a while so, please." I beg him while reaching the cafe window and door i've come to know so well.
"Seeing who?" The door creaks slightly as I swing into the cafe. Her head turns at the sound the bell and I feel a bit lighter.
Jenny's hair is worn natural, the loose curls cascading down her back and framing her face as the most important. She looks... nice? I really down know how to describe girls. Her lips turn upwards and I copy her smile.
"Bonjour, what can I get you?" Her question is directed at me but I turn at look to Max, my eyebrows raised implying that he should answer her if he wants something.
"I'm good." He waves a hand in front of his face. My feet reach the counter and I place my forearm's on the cold marble to lean in as close to her as I can. She smells like a nursery. Fresh and flowery.
"Hi."
She tilts her head. "Hi."
"How are you?"
"I'm good actually. No one has pissed me off yet but that can all change." Her eyes narrow and I smirk.
"Oh really?"
"Yes, oh really Lando."
"Sorry, could I know what's going on?" Max's voice snaps me back to a reality where he exists. I stand up straight.
"Jenny, this is the only person who can call me an asshole and get away with it. Max, this is Jenny." She sticks her hand out, smiling tenderly.
"Nice to meet you, call me Jen not Jenny."
I narrow my eyes at her. "Welllllll..."
"You're not special Lando. Hi, nice to meet you Jen." She laughs quietly at Max's jab. My hand goes out to punch him softly in the stomach but gets the counter instead. Pain travels up my arm.
