"You know what the weirdest thing is?"
Lando's lying on his back, staring up at the ceiling and tracing light circles with his hand onto the white duvet. I'm currently sitting, putting on a minimal amount of makeup before we all go out for dinner.
"What is the weirdest thing." I mutter out, trying not to stab myself with my mascara wand.
"I've never seen Ginny and Charles fight. Like, I've seen Ginny be mad and Charles be mad but never at each other." He lifts his head to peer at me through the mirror. I shrug.
"They've always been like that, far as I'm concerned." I say, finishing my eyelashes.
Dinner was planned by Ginny. We've been on the boat for a couple of days now just swimming, eating and being lazy. She wanted us to go out and have to look good for something, which I agree with. It's getting bit boring lounging around and doing absolutely nothing. I think me and Lando have become closer. We're talking more often and being the only two single people on the boat we spend most of our time together.
He's never crossed any boundaries or tried to kiss me. He's stayed on his side of the bed and respected the times I have to use the bathroom.
"Just remember, be careful of cameras when we go out, okay?" He sits up fully, grabbing his phone and scrolling through something.
"I got it, don't worry. They're not gonna shoot me so I'm less worried." I look through the mirror to see him fixing his hair in his phone camera. "You can use the mirror, I'm not hogging it." I smile
"It's okay." He beams back. Getting up, he stands behind me, stretching and yawning before sitting back down with a sigh.
"Okay," I set my gloss down. "let's go."
"Perfect, I'm ready to eat my stomach out." He says happily while standing up. He's wearing a plain white shirt and black trousers. His hair is still wet from when we last went swimming and sits in a mess atop his head. A bright smile adorns his face.
"You look presentable." I say, tilting my heading and watching the frown appear on his lips.
"I'm not-" He peer down at his plain shirt and trousers before glancing at my get up. "Well, you're just out doing me right now, which is totally not fair!" He groans out causing me to laugh.
I'm wearing a bright green getup that Ginny bought for me ages ago. It always seemed bit over the top but I decided I would bit the bullet and just wear it. What's the worst that can happen?
"I'm on trend, you're not." I sass to him and he frowns further.
"You're terrible." He mutter, walking away and out the door. I grin with triumph and follow him out, up to the deck where everybody is waiting.

"Jen, you okay?" Ginny's voice pulls me out of the small funk I'm in. Again, I'm just staring into the abyss and not really engaging in conversation. I've tried once or twice but I get tired and tap out, my social battery down to the floor.
"Just tired." I reply, a light smile on my face. Me, Ginny, P and Jade have been chatting about adopting dogs and just pets in generally while the boys talk about the season so far and how Lando is destroying Charles and Max V in the championship.
Lando bragging is something else.
"Yeah, we're gonna leave in a few. That okay?"
"That's good." I turn my head back to the water, where the restraint is situated on. It's a beautiful place, tall pillars, massive dinning tables and lovely music playing in the background. "Oh wait, Ginny can you take a few photos of me quickly?"
