Moving in

Luz POV:

After Amity left my room i went on my phone to just to watch TikTok for the time being, but then i got a message from the group chat.

Plant girl🌿: GUYS! Bosha is throwing a back to school party tomorrow night, are you guys going?

Illusion boy: I'll go, just to make sure luz doesn't beat anyone up

Me: HEY IM NOT THAT BAD😒

Golden guard: Luz you are joking right? i mean you literally fight everytime we go to a party because you are always stealing everyone's girlfriend

me:🤷🏽‍♂️ not my fault the girls boyfriends don't know how to treat their lady

Plant girl🌿: ok well it's our senior year please try not to fight anyone, you don't want to lose your baseball scholarship, and go to jail like last time

me:i guess you are right, ill try not to fight🫡

I let out a heavy sigh and looked at the time, it was time for me and Amity to get going. I got up, going over to my door to put my shoes on and made my way out of my room. I walked up to Amity's door and knocked, i heard a quiet "come in" and opened the door. "Hey you ready to go?" she nodded and got up from her bed and put her shoes on. I started walking down the stairs and grabbed my keys to my Jeep Wrangler, shortly after Amity made her way down the stairs still just wearing my shirt and black converse, i chuckled "are you even wearing pants or shorts under my shirt?" her face turned into a tomato, "i didn't have any clothes, and your one to talk your gonna go out not wearing a shirt?" i shrugged, "i did it this morning when i got us breakfast" she rolled her eyes "ok Luz lets go" i chuckled and made my way to the garage door, opening it and making my way to my jeep. I opened the passenger door and Amity got in and gave me a warm smile, which caused a blush to creep up on my cheeks. I smiled back and closed the door when she was situated and made my way over to the drivers side, i got in and turned to Amity. "so where is this motel you were staying at?" She pulled out her phone and pull the gps up on her phone to the location and handed me her phone. I placed her phone on the phone holder and started up my car and reversed out and began the drive to the motel.

After about 10 minutes of driving we made it to the motel. I parked the car and shut off the ignition and opened my door getting out and shortly after Amity made her way out of the car too. I opened the door to the lobby letting Amity lead the way and she made her way to her room. This Motel was off, it felt like someone was watching us. I kept looking around, and i couldn't find anyone looking so maybe i was just being paranoid. I was snapped out of thoughts by a hand waving in my face, "Luz! Are you ok?" i let out a nervous chuckle, "yea i'm fine, this place is just alittle creepy" she chuckled, "yea it is, but it was the closest motel i can get to on foot" i tilted my head and frowned, "you had to walk?" she nodded her head, "well i'm ready to go, i got my bag while you were zoned out" i scratched the back of my neck and let out a nervous chuckle, "sorry, just had this feeling that someone was watching us" she tilted her head "well then lets go, i don't want to be here if someone is watching us" i nodded in agreement and we made out way out of the motel. We both got back into the car and i started my car up and reversed out of the parking lot to start the drive to my mama's house. I turned the music up on my radio and it instantly started playing 'we feel in love in October, by girl in red' i could hear Amity let out a gasp and she started to sing along. I could feel my face heat up, her voice was so beautiful, wait no i can't think like that she's just my friend.. 'friend'. I kept my eyes on the road to try and ignore the fact that my face felt like the sun right now.
