Chapter 6

                                        Mall

Luz POV

We made our way into the mall, but i felt someone's hands intertwined with mine. I looked down and it was Amity's hands, they were so small compared to mine. My face started to heat up and i looked at short girl next to me and she had her head turned away but i can tell she was blushing aswell. We made our way through the mall going to Aeropostale first, Amity was able to pick out a 5 pairs of pants and 3 shirts but me on the other hand i was only able to find one graphic shirt i liked and 2 pairs of shorts. We made our way to checkout and i placed our stuff on the counter. The Man rang in all of the stuff, "Alright your total will be $80.76" i nodded and pulled my card out and held it above the machine for tap, once it took my payment i put my card back in my pocket. The guy handed me my receipt and we made our way out with me holding the bags. The next store we went to was Spencer's, Amity looked alittle nervous about this store and i chuckled, "don't worry, we're not going to the back of the store" she rolled her eyes, "then why here?" i shrugged, "they have nice graphic
t-shirts" she chuckled and i lead her into the store, eventually while i was looking at some shirts, Amity walked off somewhere else in the store. I picked out about 10 shirts, then looked around the store to find Amity. i couldn't find her in the front so that meant... shit she's in the back, i made my way to the back and there she is standing infront of lingerie. I rolled my eyes and tapped her on the shoulder, she jumped and turned around and once she noticed it was me her face turned into a tomato, i chuckled at her "i thought u didn't want to come to the back of the store" i gave her a smirk and she frowned, "I-I didn't say i didn't want to, It's just one thing caught my eye" she avoided eye contact with me and i just giggled, "well if u want a pair, get it and i'll just not look at it" she finally made eye contact with me and she gave me a shy smile, which made my heart miss a beat. She grabbed the one she wanted and we made out way to checkout, i placed my stuff on the counter aswell as amity and the girl at the register started to ring up the stuff. After about a minute the lady at the register spoke, "your total will be $150.74" i nodded and amity looked at me surprised by the price. i handed the lady my card and she swiped it, handed me my card back with a receipt. We made our way out of the store and made our way to America eagle next. We split up again and i went to the men's section, i got 3 pairs of jeans, 4 shirts, a pack of boxers and a pack of socks, i also found a beanie that caught my eye. Once i was done picking out what i liked i made my way to Amity, she was still picking out some stuff. She noticed me standing there watching her and she turned to me fully holding up a pair of jeans, "do you think this would look good on me?" i chuckled, "of course that would look good on you, to be honest you would look amazing in anything" she started to blush and had a shy smile on her face, "thank you luz, this was the last thing i wanted we can checkout now" i nodded and we made our way to checkout. I placed my stuff on the counter and Amity placed, 3 pairs of jeans, a pair of short- shorts, 2 cropped tops, and a pack of socks on the counter. The lady started to scan our items, putting them into separate bags. She looked up at us and her face started to show excitement, "woah! Luz Noceda? I'm a huge fan can i get a picture with you?" i let out a nervous chuckled and i nodded. She finished ringing in the items and i handed her my card, she swiped it then handed me my card and a receipt. She walked around the counter and pulled her phone out, i threw a peace sign up and fake smiled and she did the same snapping a picture. She let out an excited squeal and made her way back behind the counter, "thank you luz!" I nodded and me and Amity made our way out, I let out a heavy sigh and amity looked at me concerned. "Luz are you ok?" i nodded, "yea i'm alright, it's just constantly having fans coming up to me for photos or autographs, when i'm out with people, it just sucks cause i think it's uncomfortable for you or my friends to have to sit there and watch all of it happen y'know" she let out a chuckled, "i understand what your saying, but i was fine with it so you don't have to worry about me" she smiled at me which made me perk up and smile back. "Alright let's go to Staples for school supplies then to Walmart for groceries." She nodded and we made our way to the other stores.
