Chapter 8

School

Luz POV:

It's been two days since the party, meanings school was today.

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

I groaned trying to reach for my phone, after a bit i was able to finally get it. I silenced it and fell back asleep until the girl next to me chuckled, i opened one eye just to see Amity staring at me and smiling. I closed my eye and pretended to go back to sleep, she groaned "Luz if you don't get up i will start sleeping in my own room" i opened my eyes and let out a heavy sigh, "fine, fine i'm up. why are we up this early?" she chuckled and started to get up, "we have school today" i groaned and sat up, i really hate school, The only good thing about it is Baseball season and hanging out with my friends. Amity made her way out of my room going to the bathroom to take a shower, shortly after she left i got up and started picking out my outfit. I picked out Brown baggy pants, with a white t-shirt and gray hoodie. (photo)

I put it on my bed and made my way to the bathroom, i knocked and there was no answer. I opened the door and then closed it, i grabbed my tooth brush, putting some toothpaste on it and started brushing my teeth. After i was done brushing i spat the paste out and started stripping out of my clothes putting them in the hamper and hopped into the shower and turning the water onto cold and started taking a shower, i washed my hair and my body. After i was done showering i got out and grabbed my towel drying my hair a little and then dried my body off, i put the towel around my waist and grabbed my trans tape, I started applying the tape on my chest making it as flat as possible. I opened the door and Amity was standing right outside, she looked up and we made eye contact. Her face turned into a tomato and i nervously chuckled, she turned her head away snd started to stutter, "I-i still
n-need to brush my teeth" I nodded and moved out of the way and she walked in, going to the sink to brush her teeth. I made my way to my room and started to put my outfit on. After i was done getting my clothes on i put my letterman jacket on over my hoodie and put my shoes on. I made my way down to the kitchen grabbing an energy snack bar, and started to eat it. I pulled my phone out and looked at the time, it was 7:40am we still have about 10 minutes. I grabbed my bat and made my way to the garage, i opened the compartment on my bike and put my bat into it then i went to a box on my workbench and grabbed my baseball glove and put it into the compartment aswell, i closed it up and made my way back inside. I started to make some coffee, putting it into a to go cup, putting in vanilla creamer and a few spoonfuls of sugar, i stirred it and set it on the counter. Shortly after Amity made her way downstairs, wearing a blue ripped jeans, a graphic t-shirt and white shoes.
