Hello readers! Please be informed that this is my first book ever, so I'm not exactly the most experienced with writing. PLEASE:
1) Do not copy my shiz, otherwise I will run you over with a truck.
2) Do not steal my ideas, otherwise I will run your parents over with a truck (okay that was harsh).
3) Do not comment nasty shiz that may offend people, otherwise I will run your pets over with a truck (okay defos not doing that).
4) Do not send me hate messages or anything, otherwise I will run your phone over with a truck (jeez that's even worse).
5) Enjoy the book and give the voting star some love and I might consider buying a front wheeled drive riced up Honda Civic, because just like who doesn't love them they're just amazing right. Enough about shitty cars...ENJOY!

"Candice, are you even listening to me?" My best friend Macey had a worried expression plastered on her face.
I stopped focusing on what was happening in the Starbucks Macey and I were at, and looked at my best friend.
"What?"
"Well, you don't seem to be here, is there something bothering you?"
Yes, something is bothering me, but I don't know what it is. I've been bothered ever since I saw a young lad with way too pale skin and icy blue eyes."Hello, earth to Candice, what's wrong? I know somethings wrong but you have to tell me."
I looked at my best friend.
Her green eyes studied me carefully.
With a flip of her black hair, and a swish of her side fringe, she said "I've known you for eleven years, and I know something is getting to you. Tell me and I can help."
"I don't know! I saw a pale dude with black hair looking at me, and ever since that I've just felt really uneasy."Her face paled slightly.
"He...he wasn't a vampire was he?"I thought. Crap, maybe he was!
I heard that adult vampires choose young teenagers they think will turn out to be strong vampires with diverse talents. Of course, they aren't always correct, and the weak fledglings die.
When the adult vampire chooses his or her future fledgling, he/she has to become the fledglings "mentor"."Candice," Macey's shaky words brought me back from the world of vampires, "did the guy have a red teardrop?"
All adult vampires have a blood coloured teardrop tattoo on the side of their left eye. This is so the public can easily identify vampires.
Vampires aren't scary. They just need a bit of blood to survive, they are quite pale, they have powerful talents and they can easily take over the world. Luckily, humans and vampires have both set laws so that will never happen."No," I answered Macey, "but they have been know to cover up their teardrop so they look like normal humans."
"I hope you don't see him again."
"Yeah, well neither do I, anyway what were you sayi-"That's when I saw him.
Like an angel, only a demon. A fallen angel. Beautiful, yet deadly. He looked at me. A shiver took over my body."Candy, what's wrong?" Macey looked behind her and froze when she realised that's the guy I was talking about.
"Candy," Macey said without looking at me, "we need to go, now."
We both got up and walked out the door of Starbucks.
