My face was drained of all blood. "What isn't good?" I asked.
They all stared at me, checked Ashley's notes, then stared at me again.
"Um..." Ashley started, "well, uh, you're not normal...at all. I've discovered these things: even though fledglings never do, you've already gained a bond, with fire. You love and crave the taste of blood even thought you're not meant to. You have most of the capabilities of normal vampires, including speed, sight, and hearing boosts, even though you're still a fledgling. I've also discovered that you, along with a bond with fire, have a bond with something else, or should I say someone...I have a feeling you have a bond with an Ancient Vampire Goddess named Thana, which means death. You may have a bond with the Ancient Vampire Goddess of Death herself. Having two bonds are rare, let alone a bond with even a minor Goddess. Having a bond with one of the most respected Goddess' has never even been heard of, and even those that have a bond with a minor Goddess don't come around often. You are truly something, Candice. You have a bond with fire and most likely another bond with the Goddess who turned you into who you are now, and you have most abilities of an adult vampire, yet you're obviously still a fledgling..."
I started at him. What the hell did he just say?
I'm just normal, aren't I? So what, I already have one, maybe two, bonds even though I'm not meant to. And I have most of the abilities of an adult vamp, big deal! I'm sure it's happened before, Ashley seems like he knows what he's talking about.
"Dude, that's totally sick, you could have a bond with Thana! She's one of the most recognised Goddesses in the world! She's the one and only Goddess of Death, and she's an Ancient Vampire too!" CC exclaimed.
"Right, just to make sure you have a bond with fire..." Ashley started. He suddenly put one hand on my thigh and grabbed my bum with the other, even though I was sitting down.
"Ah!" I yelped, then quickly punched his face, landing my fist right on his forehead.
"Ow! That one hurt...guys, is there a burn where she punched me?" Ashley turned to Andy and CC, pointing at his forehead. The guys nodded.
"Right, so you defiantly have a bond with fire...now, how do we test if you have a bond with the sexy Goddess of Death?" Ashley asked.
Ugh, such a perv. "How did you even guess I have a bond with her? Why her?" I asked.
"Well, my bond is with healing, so naturally, I know what's going on in that gorgeous body if yours." He replied, waggling his eyebrows.
"Ugh, fine. I guess that's good enough." I said, ignoring what he last said.
"Hey, I have an idea." Andy said, raising his voice so everyone could hear. "Maybe we can take her to a graveyard and see if any dead thing reacts to her. Just a suggestion." He added.
"Andy!" Ashley exclaimed, "that's perfect! Every dead persons soul never strays far from it's body, so maybe she can do something about that?"
"Ok, so I'm gonna go and chill with dead people?! Seriously?!" I yelled.
"Calm down chicko, this is only to see if you have a bond with Thana or not. Hopefully you do, 'cause that would be awesome." Ashley explained.
"Fine." I muttered.
"I know a graveyard about a 20 minute walk from here. Want to go there?" Andy offered.
"Sure, let's go." Ashley left the room, Andy following him.
CC helped me up from where I was seated, then, as we were walking out, made a couple of eerie noises that I didn't like. I hit him, but he didn't stop.
Oh, how I am going to love this so very much.
Sorry it's hell short, but I'm really tired and honestly plain buggered up, but I will update soon so don't fret. So now you (sort of) know what the deal is with Candice, and I left it a cliffhanger so y'all hate me more :P
