A/N: The character 'Chantelle' has had a name change and is now called 'Candice'. Sorry for any confusion!
"She seemed nice enough though." I said, standing in front of a mirror in the makeup aisle alongside Andy. We had to apply more foundation over our marks, so we weren't recognised as vampires (or fledglings, in my case).
As I was trying to blend the foundation around the teal-coloured teardrop, Andy answered my statement, "Lilith may seem nice, but she's not. She's almost as evil as Eris, and that's saying something."
"Huh." I said, my attention now on a staff member of the shop we were in eyeing us off, her resting bitch face never leaving. She then looked at Andy putting foundation on his face, raising a petite blonde eyebrow.
"Watcha looking at?!" I yelled over to her.
She looked at me, then blew a bubble of the gum she was chewing on, popped it, then walked away, the bitchiness plastered on her face never leaving it.
Jesus Christ, I wonder how she ever got this job in the first place.
"So, we know that Eris is totally evil and wants you gone for some reason," Andy stated, "the Hook Horrors, who are obviously her disgusting minions, told us so. Also, Eris' sister is on Earth with her, which isn't a good sign. Lilith is the Goddess of Pain and Torture, simple as that. Although not as evil as Eris, she's defiantly deadly. So you've got three people, that we know of, who want to kill you."
I gulped loudly, then nodded.
"Eris wants you gone, along with her foul minions and her sister."
"Wait," I interrupted, "Lilith didn't say anything about wanting to kill me."
Andy chuckled. "No, she didn't, but she's Eris' sister. That's the only proof you need."
I nodded, then put down the tin of foundation onto the sample bench. "Alright then. Done?" I asked him. He put down a tin and nodded.
"What now?" I asked him.
He smirked. "Wanna see me and my band play?"
"Sure, why not."

I was in CC's house, watching him, Andy, Ashley, Jake, and Jinxx perform a song called 'Perfect Weapon' or something. I must admit, it was damn good.
The only thing I didn't like about it was when Andy screamed his lyrics, it made me a bit uncomfortable and a tad scared.
I mean, only a day ago, I knew him to be a formal and very serious guy...most of the time.
Now, that guy I knew is gone. He's replaced by this amazing singer/screamer, and an amazing guy in general (not forgetting that he's hotter than the sun itself)."What did ya think of that?" CC asked.
I put my thumbs up and grinned hesitantly. It was that slight hesitation that made Andy ask me a question.
"You're lying. What did you really think of it?"
I looked at him. "I'm not lying, it really was good."
The other guys seemed to accept that and continued to tune their guitars, play drum paradiddles, etc.
Andy, on the other hand, did not believe me for one second. "Was it me?" He asked, a confused look on his face.
I sighed and replied. "Yes. I mean, you're my mentor. That's all I've know you as, really, an exception being the last few hours, though."
He frowned. "So I'm not good?"
"What? No! I never even said that! What I'm trying to say is, well, it's weird seeing you yelling and stuff. I'm gonna have to get used to the new Andy."
He smirked. "Not the new Andy. Just the real me."
I smiled. "I'm cool with that."
He looked at me seriously. Gosh, what have I done now? "Have you got a clove of garlic with you?"
I laughed, making his serious look fade away. "Yes, I have. In my pocket."
"Andy, leave the girl alone. I'm sure she can handle herself. She's got a bond with Death, after all." CC said from the back of the room.
I grinned. "Yeah, a bond with Death and Fire. Watch your ass, Mr. Biersack."
"You bet your cotton socks I will..." He mumbled, packing up his microphone. "Ok guys, let's call it a day." He said as he placed the microphone on a shelf next to CC's drum kit.
"Yeah, only because you want to get back home and bang Cand-"
"What the hell?!" Andy cut Ashley off. "You have a problem, man! She's 17 for fucks sake! God, get outta here!"
Ashley smirked. "Fine. I'm taking Candice with me, too." He came up to me and grabbed my arm, dragging me out of CC's house.
"Ashley, stop! No! Let her go man!" Andy yelled.
Ashley slammed the front door shut, then laughed.
"What's so funny?" I asked him.
"Andy. He's worrying too much about this whole mentoring thing, because you're different...not in a bad way, though." He added.
"Huh. So, why'd you drag me out here?" I questioned him.
"Because I want to do something un-vampire-ish... Something totally mundane..." He thought for a second, then his face lit up. "How about we go to the fair! I heard there's one not far from here!"
I couldn't help but smile at his childish behaviour. "Sure! That'd take my mind off of this whole dying then un-dying thing happening to me."
He grinned. "Great! This is a time for no stress at all."
I nodded, then started walking with Ashley. "No stress, got it."
Super sorry for the late update! I hope y'all had a great Christmas! I decided to put something human-like in this chapter, so there xD
Peace out trouts ❤️💕✌️
