"Try again." Ashley said.
I was currently trying to conjure a ball of flames by using my bond with fire. After we left the graveyard, Ashley, CC, Andy, and myself all came back to Andy's house. Ashley decided to work on my bond with fire.
"C'mon, I can do it, so can you. Watch this." Andy said from next to me. He brought out his right hand and conjured a sphere of water. He froze the ball with cold wind, so now it was a sphere of ice.
I brought out my right hand and thought with all my might. I wanted a sphere of fire.
Fire...
Fire...
FIRE!Something glowed in my hand. I peered at the bright light. I did it! I've created a ball of flames, right in my hand! It didn't even burn me!
Andy laughed, still conjuring his sphere of ice. "You did it! You're amazing! You're a fire angel!" He stopped and blushed slightly.
I laughed. "Well, if I'm a fire angel, you're an ice demon."
He looked up at me slightly and smirked.
"I wonder what happens if we put the spheres together?" I asked.
Andy shrugged and held out his ice sphere. I hesitantly put the sphere of fire in it.
As soon as the two spheres made contact, a blinding light seared from them. I put both my hands over my eyes, even though the sphere was meant to be in one of my hands.
In a few seconds, I saw the light dull through my hands. I slowly uncovered them, looking at Andy. He was doing the same. I looked at where the light was from, and then gasped.
In front of Andy and I were our spheres, floating in midair. They weren't apart thought. They were formed as one, as if someone forcefully squished the fire sphere into the ice sphere. It was magnificent.
"Wow." Andy said.
"What the f-"
"What happened?" CC cut Ashley off.
"A-Andy and I put our s-spheres together, then t-there was a bright light, then t-there's this." I stuttered from shock.
"I wonder what this is?" Andy asked, talking about the spheres.
I was staring at the ball consisting of fire and ice. "How is it possible that fire isn't being put out by the ice, and ice isn't melting by the flames, even though they're mixed together?" I asked.
Everyone shrugged. "I've never heard of anything like this happening before...usually when two elements come together, they clash with each other, not this!" CC exclaimed.
I walked up to the sphere slowly. I reached out my right hand and touched it. The fire mixed with the ice in the sphere roared to life and glowed brightly, almost unbearable to look at, but impossible to not.
Andy came over and touched the sphere. The ice in the sphere shone like a frozen star.
It was incredible. "What is it?" I asked Andy.
"I have absolutely no idea what this is." He responded. He took his hand off the ball of the two elements and sat on the couch in the living room we were in.
I did the same, and sat on the couch opposite where he's sitting.
The spheres did nothing. They just stayed where they were in the middle of the living room, happily floating in midair.
"You know what? I'm going to go to bed now. This is all too confusing and I'm hoping it's a dream. Ashley, CC, sleep in the spare room. And Ashley, if I find out you've been in Candice's room and possibly doing more than you should, just know that I'll drown you in you're own blood. Goodnight." Andy said, then walked upstairs to his room.
I swear that the further he moved away from the sphere, the less the ice within it glowed. Maybe I need my vampire eyes checked out."We're gonna go and set up beds in the spare room. Jake and Jinxx are coming over tomorrow morning I think. Night!" CC said, then left upstairs with Ashley.
I sighed and stared at the sphere. What the hell was it? I, with difficulty, conjured a small ball of flames in my hand, then dissipated it. At least I still have my bond with fire.
I went upstairs and had a shower. After that, I walked to my room and got dressed into some PJ's, putting a clove of garlic on my bedside table in the process. I jumped into the soft blankets and felt my eyes droop.
So, I'm a fledgling who hasn't changed into an adult vampire, yet I have most the abilities of one and I already have two bonds, one of them which has never been heard of before.
Great.
Hey guys, any comments? Is it good, bad, potato? No, no potato? Oh, o-ok, no potato then.
