"What was that in the kitchen?" I asked Tracy once we were alone.

"Nothing." She shrugged. "Mario was just asking some questions about our work place. That is all." She said.

"Speaking of our work place, I miss Carl." I said pouting.

"I miss that guy too." She laughed.

"Who are you missing?" Vincenzo asked entering the sitting room. He had guns on his hand.

"Our co-worker, Carl." Tracy said and I glared at her.

Vincenzo raised an eyebrow and looked at me. I felt my heart sped up, as he looked in my eyes with a burning passion.

An expression I never saw on a man's face for me before.

"He is our bestfriend and we worked together for quite a bit." I said trying to ease the tension.

"You don't have to explain anything flower. I would have known if there is something going on between you too." He said smirking.

"I wasn't explaining." I glared at him.

"Good. Because we are going shooting." He said flipping a gun in his hand.

"What do you mean?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"He means that we will learn how to shoot and use a gun." Tracy squealed and I look at her in disbelief.

"What? Oh h*ll no." I yelled.

"H*ll yes." Tracy screamed.

"I am so going to kill you." I yelled.

"You need to learn how to use a gun then, Flower." Vincenzo smirked.

"You both are unbelievable." I huffed.

"Come on let's go." Tracy said taking my elbow by her hand and dragging me.

This girl is becoming stranger by the passing days. Since when does she love violence?

"Tracy! Are you insane?" I yelled as she kept dragging me.

"Listen V, you have gone through a lot ok? You need to learn how to defend yourself. You have that d*ck Derek behind you, and you damn stepfather. This is your chance." She said.

"Maybe you are right. But still I feel uncomfortable." I said feeling uneasy.

"Everything will be good, I promise." She smiled at me.

"Okay." I said rolling my eyes and followed them.

5 SUVs were waiting for us in front of the entrance. Bodyguards were everywhere watching our steps.

I spotted Milanio among the bodyguards. He had his arm wrapped. That day I forgot to ask if he was okay, but it seems like he managed well.

"Tracy you will come with Gio, Violet, Paolo and I. Mario and Erico you take the back SUV with Milanio. We are going to our shooting place." Vincenzo ordered and they all nodded.

"Yes Capo!" They yelled getting in the SUVs.

I got in next to Vincenzo in the passenger seat. The others were sitting in the back. Tracy and Giovanni were clearly flirting, while Paolo looked at his gun, ready to shoot himself.

"Why are you so exited?" I asked rolling my eyes.

"You will know once you try it." Paolo smirked playing with the gun.

"Stop playing with this killing machine." I huffed. His smirked widened but he didn't say anything.

"Paolo enough." Vincenzo growled. Paolo instantly dropped the gun and I sighed. "Flower you will be holding one in a few minutes, you shouldn't be afraid of it." Vincenzo said not amused.

"Finally!" Paolo yelled as we parked in front of a huge building. At the top was a huge VM.

Vincenzo Mercanti.

"Come on." Vincenzo said getting out of the car. We all followed him.

Tracy, Gio, and Paolo were were excited while I was glaring at Vincenzo's back.

I hated violence. Ever since my stepfather, I have hated violence. Although he never used real weapons.

"Boss!" The security guards opened the fancy doors for us. They nodded in respect.

"Call Bindo and tell him we are going to the shooting arena. I want my new revolvers. We are shooting today in the new room." Vincenzo ordered and they both nodded taking their phones.

"They are ready." One of them said and Vincenzo said and we followed him.

I looked around the lobby. It looked like a lobby for a wealthy company, and not a shooting place. I guess that is the purpose of it.

We got inside the eleven and he pressed a button. A pad come out of the wall and Vincenzo put his hand on it. The elevator started moving down. It kept on going down until few minutes later, it stopped.

"Welcome boss." A man said smiling at us.

"I hope everything is ready Bindo." Vincenzo said in a hard tone.

"Yes boss. The revolvers are ready to use. So are the boards." He said. His eyes flickered to me and he smirked.

"Follow to me." Vincenzo ordered. When he looked at Bindo's smirk he instantly took my hand in his and we walked.

The walls were covered with all kinds of guns. We were in a big room which was split in half.

"Here are the fire lines, where we will be taking our standing place. Those are out targets. We must hit them. These are the bullets trap, which prevents stray shots and over-penetrations. Our weapon will be the revolver. It is so easy to be used. We will start with it until we start using heavier weapons." Vincenzo said. He had a look of concentration on his face.

"Okay." Tracy said taking a revolver.

Bindo gave us something like headphones.

"These are to protect out hearings." Bindo said.

I took one rolling my eyes and put it on my ears.

"Violet please focus and relax. Don't hurt yourself." Vincenzo said handing me the revolver.

We stood on the lines. I looked at an overly excited Tracy.

Here goes nothing.

We started firing. I fired anywhere and barely hit the boards. I huffed in annoyance. This surely wasn't my thing. This sh*t is harder than it looks.

"Flower you have to focus on your aim." Vincenzo stood behind me putting his hands on mine that were holding the revolver. He guided them and I fired. It hit the middle of the board.

I smiled widely happy of my achievement, until I felt the heat of Vincenzo's body. Tingles shot from his hand to mine and my heart beat faster. I turned to look at him, and our eyes met. We were inches apart.

I shook my head and turned around. I can't be attracted to a criminal. I just can't.

I continued shooting, this time hitting the targets better. I tried to divert my head from thinking about Vincenzo. I felt myself free shooting at the target. I imagined my stepfather standing there and me shooting him.

"Stop." Vincenzo ordered and they all stopped but me. "Flower enough!" I kept shooting until no bullets were left.

"I will talk to her." Tracy said taking me with her aside. "What is wrong V?" She asked.

"I imagined my step-dad standing there." I said sighing.

"Are you feeling better now?" She asked.

"Yeah."

"We are leaving." Vincenzo said taking my elbow and dragging me away.
