Theo's POV

The next day, Adam dropped me a text letting me know that I could come over the day after tomorrow, giving me enough time to book my flights and accommodation.

I've just finished my tutor session with Lorena as I start to speak. "By the way, I won't be able to tutor you the next two or three days, depending on when I get back."

"Why? Where are you going?" I already know she's going to start with the way she asked.

"Just out of the country." I reply nonchalantly.

"Well, it's a bit last minute for you to tell me?"

"I don't know what you want me to do?" No way am I going to stay for her.

"Ugh, whatever." She stands up.

"Come with me." I quickly ask. I still need her to fall for me.

She ponders it, then narrows her eyes. "You know what? No. I'm not some girl you can take to a hotel and she'll be satisfied."

"You were asking to go to one yesterday."

"It was a joke. I was matching your energy, as you like to say."

"Yeah, yeah." I reply sarcastically. "What's the real issue? Is it because I walked out on you yesterday?"

"No, you always act strange like that. I'm used to it now. I'm just making it clear the type of girl I am."

"I already know that."

"Then you should know that I'm not that easy." With that, she walks out. She wants to play hard to get again. Let's see how long she'll keep this up for.

I fly out the next day, and the day after that, I go to Adam's house. As soon as I enter my room, I immediately notice that Sav has been staying here, as half of her things are mixed with mine. I scoff, she cheated on me yet acts like she can't live without me. The thought of her disgusts me.

I tidy my bed and place black roses on top, showing love for my dead ex, Rosie. I'll always care about her, but I know the reality that she's gone, and nothing will change that. However, I want Sav to think I've never been over her, and hopefully, this will keep the bitch out of my bed.

I don't know what delusions Sav fed to Matt because he was next-level pissed. But I don't take it to heart. It's not his fault that he's been brainwashed.

After leaving Adam's home, I stay in my hotel room for the rest of the day. I get notifications from the car warehouse cameras, so I check it to see Sav trying the lock. I'm so glad I never shared the code with her. I look at her, clenching my jaw as my hatred for her grows. Fuck! I can't believe I was fucking attracted to that.

I remove my access from the cameras and text Adam that he can share my cars with Matt. I can't risk taking any with me to Germany as it'll raise too many questions. But it's fine, I'll get more in the future.

Later in the night, I step out of the hotel to collect food from a takeaway that's a fifteen-minute walk away, thinking the fresh air would do me good.

A few minutes in, I glance over my shoulder, noticing someone following me. Keeping a steady pace, I go into a nearby store to see if he'll walk past, but he doesn't.

When I step back outside, I spot him on the opposite side of the road, acting busy on his phone.

I continue my path and notice he does the same, confirming my suspicions. Who the fuck could this be?

I walk into a dark alleyway and stop after turning the corner, waiting for him to come around. As soon as he does, I grab him, slamming him against the brick wall. "Why the fuck are you following me?!"
