Theo's POV (7 months earlier)
After fighting that motherfucker who talked shit about Savannah, I returned to the hotel with the boys. Savannah wasn't anywhere in the apartment, so I asked Rosanna for answers, and she told me she stormed out after they argued. She wouldn't give me any other details apart from that.
I'm surprised Savannah didn't text me about it. She'll probably be waiting to tell me in person.
I quickly change into something comfortable, then call her to check on her, ignoring the annoyed feeling I'm getting because she decided to walk out this late at night. Couldn't she have just stayed in her room?
There's no answer.
I call her again with frustration. It rings for a while until she finally answers.
"Hello." I start.
"Hi, Theo."
"Where are you, Savannah? You're not in your room, and it's late."
"Oh, I didn't realise the time. I went out of the hotel for a walk." Her voice sounds weird.
"Why? I thought your feet hurt?"
"Uh- Yeah, it did at first, but I wanted to get used to the heels, so now they feel fine." Anytime her feet hurt in heels, she rushes to take them off, not walk in them more. Something isn't right.
"Okay, it sounds like you're in a bathroom?" I say straight up.
"Yeah, I'm in the public toilets right now. That's why I couldn't answer your first call."
I instantly relax. "Alright then. Next time, please just tell me where you're going so I know where you are."
"I will. I'm sorry, I just didn't think about it."
"Where are you? I'll come pick you up now." I ask as my hand instinctively reaches for my car keys in my pocket.
"Oh, don't worry about it, I'll walk back. I'm not that far, and the walk is doing me good."
"Are you sure?" I question.
"Yeah, I'll be like ten mins."
"Okay, I'll be waiting for you in the lobby. Bye."
I end the call.
One thing that I know about Savannah is that she never passes a ride. She hates walking, so why is she suddenly into it? I've been with her for too long to know she's hiding something. For the first time in a long time, I don't trust her.
I call Vincent, and he answers, speaking first."Hi Theo, so I checked those guys you fought, and luckily, they're nobody important. Next time, please give me a heads-up before you decide to throw fists around here. You never know who you're fighting. There are so-"
I cut him off. "Thanks, Vincent. Listen, can I see you now?"
"Uh, yeah, sure. One of my men will bring you to my office. He'll be waiting in the lobby."
When I arrive at Vincent's office, he's already stood up, waiting to greet me. "Theo, great to see you." He grasps my hand and gives me a friendly pat on the back.
"Yeah, you too." I reply, trying to match his energy but struggling. I sit on the chair opposite him as he returns to his seat.
"So, what can I do for you?" He asks with a broad smile on his face.
I lean forward in my seat with seriousness. "Please, can you find where my girl is?"
He gives me a concerned look. "Is she missing?"
