Theo's POV

Three months have passed, and it's crazy to admit it, but my life is so fucking good right now. I have a girlfriend who genuinely loves me. I'm closer to my sister, and Dom has really proved himself as her man and my close friend.

It's Wednesday, just hitting midnight. Dom and I are outside, standing by our cars, chatting away until our attention is taken by the front door opening.

"Hey boys!" Emilia calls out with a playful grin as she walks, linking arms, with Lorena, who continues to look better as time passes.

"Hey Em, is everything good?" Dom asks, trying to match her energy, but I notice the concern in his tone.

Emilia glances at Lorena cheekily before returning her gaze to Dom. "We know you guys start racing around this time, but could we please go for an ice cream? We're craving it."

"I'm down." Dom replies, turning to me. "What do you say, Theo?"

I glance at Lorena, and a slight smile forms on my face naturally. "I'm more than down."

Lorena smiles back as her eyes move to the ground, trying not to make things obvious.

"Yes! Thank you!" Emilia reacts.

I reach for the car key in my pocket. "I'll drive."

Dom pats me on the back and his hand intertwines with Emilia's as he opens the back passenger door for her. Lorena sits in beside her. I sit in the driver's seat, adjusting the rearview mirror to focus only on Lorena. Finally, Dom joins us in the front passenger seat.

As we drive towards the ice cream shop, my eyes keep glancing at Lorena, who's always looking back at me. I wish we were alone.

When we reach the shop, Dom and Emilia go to order our ice creams, leaving Lorena and me in the car.

Turning to face her in the back seat, I reach out to place my hand on her thigh. "Did anyone tell you that you look beautiful today?"

She smiles brightly and then pretends to think. "Hmm, no, they didn't."

"Well, you are beautiful."

"Thank you, that's sweet." Her hand covers mine, squeezing it gently.

"Give me a kiss." I urge, unable to resist her.

She glances toward the shop, hesitant. "They might see us."

"They won't trust me." I insist, leaning a little closer.

She reaches forward and gives me a small kiss on the lips before sitting back.

"Missed your lips." I say in satisfaction.

She giggles, running her hands through her dark hair. "We kissed this morning."

"That was a long time ago."

"Have you thought about when we should tell Dom and Em about us?" She asks, her tone serious yet hopeful.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm more open to them knowing, but not right now. I shift in my seat, trying to buy time with my words. "Not long now... I'll let you know when, okay?" I say, trying to end the subject.

There's a flicker of disappointment in her eyes, but she has no choice but to accept my answer. "Okay."

When Dom and Emilia return, they pass us our ice creams, and we dig into them in the car.

"It's actually so nice to go out at night. The roads are so quiet." Lorena voices.

"Yeah, it's a vibe." Dom replies.
