 Taylor

On Christmas day, Taylor sleeps until her eyes hurt.

Last night, she set up her own date, placed pillows and mattresses in her bed for a movie night. She picked out crisp, crackers, gummies and was so stubborn about just one more episode. So today, when she woke up, the sun had streaked over her window, dazzling down.

At least her parents aren't home.

She finishes her morning routine, washing and brushing what needs to be done, then climbing down the kitchen.

Sticking to her refrigerator, a yellow sticky note with italics goes: going out, your father's gift in the living room.

She doesn't take the note down, Taylor writes thanks then opens the fridge, taking out her homemade gingerbread. She fills her empty stomach temporarily with them, along with making a quick sandwich, because by the time she's done, noon has passed.

Taylor's eating her sandwich while going checking on her father's gift. Like last year, she got a sweater, with a different color no one can guarantee she'll use. But she still pressed it to her nose, inhaling scent of the store her father bought from. Then she stored her gift, along with many other wool clothings with identical brands she placed in her wardrobe.

In the afternoon, she gets over Sam's house. Madam Laurier is making some pudding, sugary smells traveled all over their house. His father's watching a TV show with him. When he spotted her, Sam stood up and handed her her gift, with thick and curvy feeling.

"Is that a book?" she asked him.

"I won't tell."

She helps his mother boil sugar and put into molds, wait until they are crystalized and pour in pudding liquids. Then she follows Sam down the basement.

"You'll had their gift placed there also?" Sam asked.

"I will, all of them," she said.

Taylor comes down seeing Sam reorganized the room, with little changes after she got part of it yesterday. Bean chairs with fluffy blankets, bunch of board games, and his projector set up. There's a little pine tree, much smaller than one in their backyard.

When she came over, Taylor placed the boxes inside her paper bag under the Christmast tree.

Sam raises his eyebrows, eyes scanning around the room. She puts her thumbs up, before comfortably sitting down one of those chairs.

"Fantastic Beast released a new part this April."

Taylor turns to look at him, her eyebrows raised a little. "You know what I'll do."

Victor

He wakes up early on Christmas, spending time for his movies and books stuff. His morning's quite boring, with him doing nothing more than spending time inside his room. His mother went out to buy more groceries, which makes his plan backfired, and he sure they'll still have turkey by the end of the year. He left home with his father, who made him clean their pathway with him. Shoveling snow from last night.

In the evening, Domini plays online deck card with Alan – who apparently has a few days off from his class work. His mother's baking dinner. Stuffed turkey, garlic breads, bacon brussel, mashed potato and a carrot cake for dessert. By the time she finished cooking, their house fills with scent of a charming dinner.

Sara wasn't so into cooking, except when she did, she made lots. Today is that exception, he could hear his mother humming sitting across the room.
