Taylor
She, thank goodness, managed to get inside her house without much notice. Taylor came home at past ten, the time when she likely would get murder because she didn't tell them. And she doubts they would accept if she did.
She walked on the tip of her toes, carefully passing their door. Rays of warm light are shining through the gaps underneath their door. Taylor quietly opened her bedroom door and got in, changing her clothes before burying herself inside the soft blanket, hoping she would pass the night.
Few more minutes passed, as if her parents could feel, she heard Minh and Leo talking from outside her door. She hid her face on the pillow, her body curled up and she covered her head under the mattress when her mother was whispering shout.
They became quiet, before she heard her door knob twist.
Leo walked in, with a brief smile after he closed the door. She took a peek behind him and sat up when no one was in sight.
"Where have you been today?" he asked. His voice was soft, softer than she thought she deserved.
"Sending letters to grandmother."
He nodded in understanding, didn't inquire further. Leo told her to inform them before getting home late, and that she is lucky because her mother's tired.
"And Taylor," he said before going out, when she's laying cozy in her blanket. "If you can, don't go out this late. You made your mother worried."
Taylor made a face after her father closed the door, doubting what he said.
Victor
He found her as soon as they came to her stop. Victor could not help but to stare at her the whole time on the bus. While holding her hand with her head on his shoulder. And when they got down he followed her everywhere.
He grown disappointed when the bell rings. Victor stands outside the hallway, watching her walk away before vanished inside her classroom. Then he comes to his.
The first two subjects were boring as his teachers were grading midterm tests and they had nothing else to do. Taylor's busy with all of her classes so he could not come over. The notification bar on his phone showed nothing interesting. He tried to sleep through, chin on his hand, but his friends keep coming over.
"Ya see Justin anywhere?" Jake asked. Jake – a messy figure with careless attitude – who will not manage one day without his games. He brutally slammed his book to Victor's desk to gather his attention.
"How could I know?" he answered, irritated in his tired voice.
"He promised me for an online match, I didn't see him active yesterday. I thought you go with him."
"I'm out all day without him. Where did you get the information?"
"He said it himself."
He grew confused, but quickly assumed what Justin could say might be a little of a pain. Victor leaned back to his seat, closed his eyes before telling the boy to go away.
There's something he found was as uneasy, like the feeling when Mia hadn't been school for too long. Or he hasn't seen her.
But he can only care about her. When they reached her home, Victor get in, as his usual hobby. Again drowning himself in the refreshed scent of her. He wondered how he could live this long without being here.
